Misunderstood Battery
Like many other reviewers I at first thought this was a defective battery. I installed it and even after several days to charge it I still had the low battery alert on my main ADT Impassa panel. I was about ready to return it but after further research I discovered that pressing *2 on the panel’s keypad gave me a listing of the problem areas. Turns out the low battery alert pertained to my remote siren unit’s batteries and NOT the main panel. I replaced the 4 AA batteries in my remote siren and the low battery warning went away. So maybe this battery sometimes gets blamed for being defective when it isn’t the culprit at all.

Bad Battery
I purchased this battery Aug 31, 2024 installed it upon arrival. Now Nov 20th, 2024 and the battery is dead. Why??

Even batteries from the company installed by their pro wouldn't take off the "battery low" in the control panel message. Done now! Simple to install-did it myself at 79 years old! Hooray!
