I bought this after a £200 bed base from dreams conked out on us after 4 short months. All of the pieces were labelled and the bed its self was easily assembled. Even though I had to remove all of the other furniture from the box room, I think it took a total of 3 hours (including moving the furniture). I am not a DIY genius and literally anyone with two brain cells would be able to follow the instructions. It looks exactly like the pictures and once built and once everything was back in its place, it felt really sturdy. I have not had any complaints about it from my guests and it has ample room underneath for a suitcase or storage containers

Nothing negative, goes together well very sturdy, only comment is they are not white, a light grey at best, so if white is the reason to buy you will be disappointed

The colour is not quite the gold finish I expected, it is more a light brown gold effect. But, it actually works in the room.The frame is a little time consuming to put together but really straightforward. Very solid, so squeaking.. overall a great bed frame, even more so for the price.Highly recommend.

This is a lovely bed, which looks great and is of simple design. Having slept in an uncomfortable king size for a while, getting used to a double is a change for sure but the bed fits my new space perfectly and is solid construction.Pros:Sturdy design.Can be assembled by one person (even a tiny person like me!)Doesn't require loads of tools.Looks great.Has height so plenty of storage space.Cons:Comes with all the nuts and bolts ever produced in the world. EVER!!On my own this took a good couple of hours and I'm not kidding when I say I was sliding in bolts and tightening nuts for what felt like days. It wasn't even a Friday night down da club!!😂But once the job was done I had a lovely bed which my mattress fit perfectly. There is lots of storage space for shoes or a couple of friends so really, what more do you want?The company may have outdone themselves here as I don't think I'll need to purchase another one for some years to come.

Good value, sturdy and looks good

I ordered this double bed, in black, for my 11 year old Son. I didn’t expect it to be as good as it is actually, considering the price. It came in a smallish box and at first I thought it may be tricky to build,and in a million pieces, however the pieces are all labelled well and the instructions are clear and easy to follow. (I recently helped my daughter build an Ikea bed and this was way easier than that!) I built it on my own with no trouble at all. Take your time and follow the instructions and it’s easy. It comes with an Allan key and another tool which I don’t know the name of. The bed when built, looks good, is sturdy and is of good quality. There is also a decent height underneath the bed, which makes storing boxes/suitcases underneath really easy. I would definitely recommend.

Not very sturdy. Head end keeps bending and loosening screws.
