Love the option of switching to 4 way from top of the cabinet... well made, responsive.. only drawback is the plate that mounts the stick. It is larger than the average cutout for many pre-made routed cabinets requiring some modification.

Bought a pair of these back in 2021 for a MAME machine. I love the 8/4 way switching aspect to accommodate the variety of games. The BIG downside is that the switches don't last very long. My machine gets pretty limited us, maybe a few times a month and the #1 player joystick switches are really bad and missing most of the moves. I guess I'll be looking to replace these before too long. Major bummer considering the premium cost.

Sometimes they are hard to turn to the desired 4 or 8 way position. Controls are tight. I highly recommend servosticks instead. I think they work better.

Disppointed. Bought 3 of these. While they DO switch between 4-way and 8-way easily, I'm not impressed with the action of this joystick at all. Horrible when trying to go from a horizontal or vertical position to a neighboring diagonal position. Games like Robotron 2084 are a bear to play with these. As a result, I'll need to replace these three joysticks ($170 for all) with something else if I want better 8-way play.
