I bought this for my gingerbread mad 6 year old and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. I’m not one for buying branding other than LEGO but this one went together perfectly. No missing pieces and a very happy son!

An absolute waste of money. It is so fragile it keeps falling to pieces any time you move it something falls off or it falls apart. My son is not able to play with it. And even gently with a feather duster it falls apart. It’s a pity I can’t give it minus stars

My kids have always admired Christmas village displays at local shops, only to be told no when we look at the prices of those things! With our family also being big fans of Lego and other construction toys, this seasonal set has been the perfect compromise. Whilst a third party brand, I have been impressed with the quality of the bricks and build experience, which is not far off the leading brand. The set is similar to the design of the Lego “A-frame” cabin set, with plenty of seasonal details thrown in. The pieces come in numbered bags and the instructions will be familiar to any seasoned Lego builder. Several printed pieces are included, which have been bagged separately. In addition, there are a small number of stickers to apply. The resulting build is very detailed and includes a well implemented slide out interior. Whilst approximately minifigure scale, none are included - but you could easily add suitably seasonal residents of your own, we’ve used Lego Star Wars advent calendar figs for example! Sometimes third party brands like this have quality issues with the pieces, but I found no issues in this area. If you do have any missing or broken bits though I note that the manufacturer offers customer support to help you source replacements. I would only quibble the age rating of 8+, this build would probably be best suited for 12+ and ideally someone we’ll practiced in Lego building. The price is an absolute steal for what you get, especially as it is currently on a Black Friday deal. If you are a fan of building sets and are in the market for a reasonably priced alternative to Lego’s own Christmas offerings, then look no further.

Kept two adults busy for a couple of hours and makes a nice little Christmas ornament when it's done. Nice for an early Christmas gift for anyone that likes to build, though on the pricey side for a lesser known brand.
