Good set but the greenery can fall off
Overall a fun building experience. The base was straight forward in its building with the instructions being clear. The greenery is a little precarious and can fall off easily if you mess with it. I have it on a shelf and it does not get messed with so it is staying. Fun set with a good look.

Great Instructions
The instructions are great and easy to follow. However, it was hard to stabilize the tree. It keeps on fall off. I have to change the arrangement to make the pieces stay together. That’s why I took off 1 star.

Excellent!
I'm always hesitant to try a new building block brand. LEGO casts a long-shadow, and I've been burnt by subpar sets before. With this in mind, I'm very happy to say that this is a very good set.For one thing, despite the somewhat daunting "1000 pcs" blurb on the box, it's actually a fairly simple, quick build. The most difficult part is arranging the leaves, but the results are well worth-it. It looks like a much more complex set than it is.I haven't attempted to get creative and "D.I.Y." the leaves like the product blurb suggests, but I imagine that you can get a lot of really cool results with this. This set is easily worth $45, especially considering that an equivalent LEGO set would probably cost $50-$60.

A struggle
Pieces don’t fit together well or tightly. Directions with pictures only are not sufficient. Very unstable as building went on. Got as far as tree leaves and then gave up!

Does not stay together
After many attempts, I am unable to connect the final piece with the leaves to the tree trunk.

Extremely difficult to do the foliage part
Building the base was pretty straightforward. Now, the way the foliage attaches to the base is precarious. The green pieces do not attach securely so they snap off with the lightest pressure. I used the brown long parts / twirling the around the base to give the foliage base support so it feels less flimsy. It was very challenging to get it to be just so. The short brown pieces that surround the piece to which you attach the foliage after assembling are super problematic as they pop off with the lightest pressure.at the end it looks cute. But my initial plan of taking it to my office is now out of the question, as it is not likely to survive the trip without getting mangled.

Decent set.
Packaging : Inside the box are bags numbered 1 and 2 and instructions.Instructions : The instructions are clear and easy to follow.Parts quality : The parts quality is on the high side, with the printed money tiles being surprisingly clearly printed.Set design : The set is largely well designed, although the way the foliage / leaves are done results in a very difficult building experience.Overall thoughts : As a display piece, it's excellent. It is entirely possible to leave the money off if you just want it to be more of a normal bonsai-type tree. The build *can* be extremely challenging in the leaves / branches area.

It’s pretty great, just one flaw
Build was absolutely great until the canopy. The canopy is tricky, but not terrible. Definitely not for beginners. The kicker was there was no way to attach the canopy to the center if the trunks. It doesn’t show it in the directions and the two pieces were not compatible.I fixed this by reversing the rod that holds the rings that the branches clipped into. Once it was upside down, it fits into the trunk. I highly recommend sliding the rings on to the rod and snapping the branches in last. Otherwise it will be a big pain.Not for beginners or children, but a great kit.

Not great.
The pieces don't snap and STAY in place like Lego does. The leaves on my tree is just sitting precariously on top of the stump... you look at it wrong and the leaves will come tumbling down.. might have to super glue it together.And the little book of instructions is not very clear. Really wanted to like it because the models are so cute. But I don't think I have enough super glue for that...

Leicht zum aufbauen alle Teile waren vorhanden. Nur die kleinen Geldscheine fallen schnell ab.
