Reviewed by my wifeI do a lot of art and craft work, but I am not that good at drawing so I use stencils to give me a basic design which I can enhance, so I was really pleased to try this 12 piece stencil set.The sheets are well cut - a few bits do need removing, but they push out as they have already been cut.The stencils sheets are large and rigid enough to draw around your desired pattern. They are also washable if you use paint on the stencil sheet.There is a good range of different patterns on the stencils so they are versatile for all craft projects.A good price at £7.99 and to be honest, you can't have too many stencils, can you?

A set of 16 stencils consisting mainly of flowers. Smaller pictures are 6cm across and largest is about 18cm across. Most of the thin plastic stencils are cut out cleanly though 2 of them are damaged. The stencils are simple to use, lay them flat on the wall, use blu tac to keep the stencils inlace and make sure there is little gap between the stencils and wall to prevent seepage. A normal brush can be used to stipple the paint into the stencils. Keep the brush slightly dry: less paint is better than too much.

The media could not be loaded.  You are getting a great selection of stencils including a butterfly, bee, dragonfly and two different types of birds. There is also a large variety of plants represented from flowers to ferns, leaves and palms.If you are a crafter, or renovator of furniture you could use these for a variety of projects. The stencils are thin and will be easy to store, personally I would find a small wallet or box to put them in and then label it so you can find them in amongst your craft stash.I love botanical or nature inspired craft items. I think we all love incorporating elements of the natural world into our home. I love colour, texture and prints, but not to excess. I think you could easily craft your own prints on canvas with these and perhaps create some for your family, according to their botanical favourites. I have a friend who loves Roses & Butterflies, so would just need a few other supplies to create a home made moving in gift for her new home.As an ex teacher I think children could use these at school as well. I have literally taught all sorts of things using crafting. Children learn best when doing. Teaching them about the Natural World is so important and our need to nurture it. These could be used for Spring/Summer related nature themes.Happy to recommend to crafters of all sorts!

As a crafter, I do have quite a few stencils at home, but most of them tend to be of abstract patterns rather than objects.This set includes 36 separate stencils which measure approximately 5” x 5”. They include designs such as flowers, leaves, birds, butterflies, bees. The stencils I have bought in the craft store have cost me between £4 and £5 EACH ! These work out at a mere 30 pence (yes – 30 pence !) each which is unbelievable value. As well as loving crafting, I am also very keen on wildlife, so for me this set ticks every box.I am in the process of renovating my home and my idea is to “bring the outside in”. I am thinking that once everywhere is decorated I can add some stencilling to the walls. Also, I have just created a wildlife pond in my garden, so I am now planning on stencilling some of the designs onto pots for my flowers and herbs. I am also going to paint my shed a sage green. I have already bought the paint and some bug hotels, but a few bees, and butterflies stencilled on the front of the shed will look fab ! (At least I think so !).I will use mine with stencil brushes and paint/chalks, but you can also use them as a template by drawing around the design with pencil or a fine tipped pen, and then colouring in the image afterwards. This would be a great activity for youngsters.As you can see, my mind is buzzing with ideas for these fabulous stencils. Not to mention the fact they can be used on clothing, bags etc.Just because they are super value, doesn’t mean they are flimsy. They are very well made, and durable, and the same quality as my much more expensive ones, meaning they will surely last.I am really delighted with these stencils, and cannot recommend them highly enough both for arts and craft, home décor etc. They are also great for children and teenagers.I have shared photos of some of my favourite designs from the pack.Thank you for reading my review and I hope you found it helpful.

These are large stencils, good quality plastic and can easily be cleaned. I used them with fabric paint and the paint washed off very easily.

A set of 12 large craft stencils. The stencils are all precisely cut out. We are pleased with all of the different designs. The stencils are easy to use with crayons, inks or paints to make beautiful decorations. No experience necessary. If you use water based paints the stencils are easily washed. Good value for money.
