So far, so good
Works just a described. Has a supposed 4 year battery life, with a low battery indicator at 6 months remaining. Activates on hard braking over 30mph. Definitely recommend

Did not work for me
I was unable to get this product to work properly. As a result, I requested a return to Amazon. I was then contacted by the vendor who offered to send a second unit. I accepted because I was informed the second unit would be fully tested before being sent to me. However, this second unit also does not work in my vehicle (a hatchback). I believe the vendor acted in good faith, but I simply cannot get this product to work as advertised.

Works as Intended
I purchased this as an extra layer of safety while driving. Was easy to install, works only when you do a sudden, hard brake (as intended). Nothing can guarantee 100% safety while driving unless you are in a tank, but every extra bit of protection certainly can't hurt.

Trash
Battery died after a few months. Battery dies, and you throw away the unit. Not available anywhere.
