Hemlock ParkScented Reed Diffuser Handcrafted with Essential Oils in an Amber Apothecary Glass (Sandalwood, 4 oz Bottle)

When I first opened this I wasn’t sure it would be a keeper. We’ve not had a sandalwood diffuser before so I thought maybe sandalwood was supposed to smell like soap.But after a few hours in the guest bath it opened up and provides a pleasant scent. Not too strong. And it appears it will last a while.The bottle is a little utilitarian: looks like a cheap brown bottle. But it’s fine on a corner of the vanity.

This scented reed diffuser set smells wonderful. There is the citrus of the blood orange, but also the herbaceous quality of the sage that keeps it interesting. This is an excellent scent for Spring and Summer, but the herbal quality would allow it to meld into Fall, as well. The amber bottle and black reeds look fine, but aren't anything eye catching or interesting. Same thing with the packaging, so it wouldn't make the most exciting gift option. However, if you don't care too much about packaging, the scent quality is great and has decent sillage to leave your room smelling fresh and clean.

I'm a big fan of reed diffusers for the fact that the scents are usually powerful enough to make you realize the space smells nice but they're subtle enough where the scent isn't overbearing. The bottle is a good quality however I opt to pour my oils into a decorative bottle of my own and use the reeds - either way, the reeds and oil have worked well and the whole setup makes my bathroom smell very inviting.

I got this essential oil in the Blood Orange Sage scent to put droplets of it into my humidifier/essential oil diffuser & it smells good! All I need is just a very little bit of it in my humidifier/essential oil diffuser mixed with a lot of water & the scent of it is noticeable & pleasant!I like the attractiveness & simplicity of the amber glass bottle as well, in case you wish to leave it out on a counter, table, or shelf in order to keep it handy. My only wish is that it had one of those stoppers in the top of it for dripping out individual droplets of the oil slowly...since when I try to pour just a little bit of it into my humidifier/diffuser, it's almost impossible to pour it out neatly without some of it always dripping down the side of the bottle (wasting some of it) & I'll have to wipe it off the bottle & the scent can then get transferred onto my hands (& essential oil scent isn't the easiest to get off of your hands lol.) But I do realize it wasn't meant for pouring it out of the bottle & it's instead meant to be used with reeds sitting inside of the bottle! That just isn't what I'm currently using it for lol. But I'm enjoying the scent of it nonetheless & it works well so far in my humidifer/diffuser & I love the company Hemlock Park & their natural candles so I thought I'd give their essential oil a try as well & I'm content with it! :)
