I'm using these lights for vegetable seed starting. They are very light and easy to install above my plants. These lights are not suitable for sustaining flowering and fruiting stages of vegetables, but they are great for getting seeds germinated and the plants large enough for transplanting. I am using four bulbs on a 16 inch wide shelf and the results have been excellent. I've already transplanted sugar snap peas and muir lettuce outside and they were all started under these lights for later transplants. I have french breakfast radishes, 3 varieties of peppers and 3 varieties of tomatoes growing now under these lights. Also under these lights, I'm growing arugula, butter crunch lettuce and snow peas tendrils all for year round salad use. I have other brands of lights on other shelves that I already had and these lights are brighter than the lights I have been using. These lights are a great value and will more than pay for themselves in the first weeks of my summer vegetable garden.

Yesterday I replaced an old florescent shop light with this light. I'm very impressed. It's very light in weight, which made hang it very easy. It also brighter than the old shop light, which was a bright unit for its time.

I have a dark work shop with no windows and I used these to replace flourescent lights. The 4500 Lumen, 500K lights are very bright and fully illuminate my shop. It’s like daylight in there now! Installation is easy and the cord length is good. The lights are plastic and must be handled gently but most light fixtures are delicate so this is not a big concern for me. I opted for the frosted lenses to diffuse the light and avoid shadows. I would recommend the frosted lenses for a work shop. I have had no problems making fine measurements with these lights installed.

So these are basically an led strip inside a very thin plastic tube. They are super compact and light weight but work totally fine. They might be fragile but I'm careful with stuff. I've had them up in an under construction garage for a few months in a very wet environment with no issues.

Using these for grow lights for my flower and vegetable seedlings. Along with heat mats (it's December), they are working great. Everything is sprouting. These were a great alternative to light setups marketed as "grow lights," which run about $80-120. (Never search for grow lights. Just search for the amount of light you want.) Search for these instead. They are the same thing at a much more reasonable price. They are VERY bright, lightweight, easy to install (I hung them from wire shelving). They came with easy hooks and chains to hang them with too. About to buy another set!

These lights are cheap: There's no dust hood / light deflector on top. BUT, my main complaint is the placement of the on/off switch...it's only a foot from the light, meaning: If you mount this light at the ceiling, the on/off switch extends down only 1 foot, you'd need a ladder to operate the switch.A pull-chain would be much more useable.

Lightweight. Easy install. Didn’t need the chains and hooks. Just drove drywall screws into my garage ceiling and slid the fixtures on using the smart “+” design opening. Very bright. Uses these to replace the lightbulbs in my garage door opener. What a difference. Replaced the two bulbs with plug-in adapters.
