I bought this so I could charge my laptop during our road trip to Oregon since our car had 3 cigarette ports. It worked perfectly! Kept my laptop charged the entire trip and phone as well. No issues whatsoever.This may be bothersome to others, but wasn't for me. I figured I would throw these in for information's sake.- The cooling fan is not obnoxiously loud, but you can hear it. When I was driving locally, I forget that I had it plugged in still and started to hear a soft whine. Couldn't figure out what it was until I looked back and saw it plugged in.- There is a green light on it to indicate that it has power and it is quite bright. You will notice it at night and it can become obnoxious.Performance wise, this was an excellent purchase! Will use it for other things that need a traditional outlet plug for sure!

This is my second car power inverter that I have bought in 3 months, not because the first one stopped working, but it was because my sister loved it so much that she took my first one. This inverter works great and I have no complaints at all. The charging is very fast, just as fast as you charge with your original charger on the wall. You can also charge your laptop on this. I have done it few times and it charges equally as fast as the wall charger. When you plug the inverter in the car cigarette lighter hole, then the green power is one which indicates that the inverter is working. For anyone looking to buy a car charger, I highly recommend you buy this inverter so you can just use your original charger in your car and charger just as fast as you would normally.

This inverter is fast and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it! For whatever reason, my Android occasionally will not charge when plugged into my car's USB port. I plug in the inverter and plug my phone into the 2A and phone is charged faster than when I have it plugged in at home! Have used the inverter to power my laptop via the DC outlet. Worked just fine. I am very glad I bought this product.

this is the 2nd one of these that my family has bought! It works great for plugging a sound machine into for long road trips so our son can sleep and we don't have to sit in silence. It is also great for when we are on the road and have to work, we can plug our laptops into it and keep going!

I bought this so I can hook up a hand vacuum in my truck. I should have checked the wattage on bought this and the vacuum. It could not power the vacuum, I doubt it can power up anything other than a Nintendo or a cellphone. Check the wattage of the devices you wish to use this with. And it does get hot.

I purchased this power inverter for a week long road trip with my family and it was a life-saver. It does get rather warm, even with the fan, but it wasn't overly loud or obnoxious to use. We were very pleased and love the metallic red finish. Very nice!

Most of my devices can be charged directly by a cigarette lighter usb charger. However, I have to have AC power to charge my lap tops. This is a good compact unit. I keep it in my little commuter car to charge my commuter when I am away from AC power.
