I see some of the ratings on the site say there is a rust problem. I used these post bases over 1 year ago and can teell you 100 percent that thee is not a speck of rust on any of the bases and they are constantly exposed to water.

The post base fit the 6x6 perfectly. Seems to be as thick material as Simpson.

Bought these because they were cheaper and delivered to my door, I regretted it within the first MONTH… that’s right, they started to rust and stained my brand new stamped concrete patio within the first month. I’m in a freeze state so there was some snow accumulated near them but still no excuse, I’ve left name brand name galvanized post bottoms and hangers laying on the ground for a couple years outdoors and have not seen this. I took a shot because I know I will be enclosing the space so essentially they will be indoors, I saw the other negative reviews and though maybe it was a fluke, I regret it, they are all rusting, not just one. I wish I spend the extra couple bucks and took a ride to the lumber yard, now I have to try and get rust stains off the brand new concrete. Do yourself a favor and avoid this sorry excuse for building materials. If you don’t, I hope you have the expertise to swap them out in the future.

Disappointed that anchors are not included with the brackets. I should have looked in the box before pour day, after pouring concrete I opened packages to get anchors out to set in concrete but there were none there just the brackets. Pictures on misleading.Brackets are heavy duty.

Purchased 3 of these to anchor my patio cover to. Just installed first unit this past weekend. Zero issues, perfect fit. Much better than units sold at Home Depot for more $$$... Looking forward to completing my project and these bases are a big help!
