Pretty satisfied...This replacement did fit the the 1” port as well as properly mount at the base in my Ultravation system just fine. Concerning bad reviews from other customers, I can see how it may not fit all port holes and not properly mount as the bulb is thicker and the mounting base is quite thinner than the original, which does not reflect direct oem replacement measurements for model AS-IH-1001. I will say however, this replacement is nice in the fact it has a ceramic base versus the original being plastic.

Works as advertised

I purchased this because the price was great. Just be careful that if you have a warranty on an air conditioner, and this is used, the warranty will not be honored. It lasted about 10 months so I suppose that wasn't worth the reduced price!

Slightly smaller than OEM bulb, but it connected easily to my system.

Our A/C service company wanted to charge us a large sum of money to replace the ultraviolet light used in our A/C air handler. We were able to purchase this replace set and save hundreds of dollars. Easy to install.

Work just as well as the $100+ dollar name brand lights. Will continue to buy these when needed.

This was the right part for a decent price. Original lamp was installed by a local AC Repair Company. When I went to get a replacement, they quoted a price that I could not believe. So, I searched online and found it here. Still more money than I felt a light bulb should cost, but it was the lowest price I could find.

Expensive although cheaper than the one my A/C man is selling. Only has estimated life expectancy of about 2 years. Wish I had never installed the assembly.
