Extremely competent back up phone
Arrived a day early with complimentary sweets (yaas). Waited a couple of days before I wrote review and so far no problems whatsoever. Pristine condition and as new. Got this as a backup phone while my Huawei mate p20 is off for repair and the only differences I have noticed are slightly slower loading, keypad spacing and the camera isn't as good obviously. But if I didn't need the camera for my work I'd be happy with this as my main phone. And it's a fraction of the cost compared to the p20 mate! Very happy with it.

Great phone for the price
I bought this phone for my daughter. She likes the weight and shape and says it feels good to hold. It is a good quality phone at a bargain price and has survived some impressive drops so far. It is fast and reliable. My daughter is not sure about the camera. Most of the time the images are clear but occasionally some graininess creeps in. However, the pictures she just showed me looked very good and I have attached one of them for reference. Less positive is the fact that this phone is not compatible with the Fitbit software and this has been a long term problem. Obviously only a problem if you have a Fitbit.

Brilliant
Waited a few months before writing this review, there's a 2019 version of this out now so this phone will probably be cheaper than when I bought it. Nevertheless a really good budget phone. Fingerprint recognition is very accurate and it has loads of useful features like the split screen. Only few niggles are even when you change the settings to hide message notifications they do still occasionally appear on the home screen and the camera could be better in lower light. It's great in natural light however, the huawei p20 lites camera is amazing so if you're after budget phone but with a great camera, I would go with that instead.

Nice phone, with limitations. (why can't we move apps to SD - why is this and issue in 2018?)
With this phone you CAN NOT move apps to SD card. There is also some screen lag moving from internet back and to. Some lag moving between apps. It's not awful but annoying because screen lag should be a thing of the past - by now. Battery is ok. It drains with heavy use, like any. You'll need a large SD card, like 64 gigs, realistically, I'd think, for all your music photos and docs. 10 gigs is already used by system, so you're down to about 20 gigs on internal before you even start. I like this phone, I've had it a few days now, and I'd recommend it being aware of its limitations helps before you make this choice though. And the audio is mediocre, don't expect a sound lab! Camera is better than normal with some nice extras. Cheers, drew. (64 gigs internal storage should be standard now!) Update: for your music, install an app called PowerAmp. There's a trial version you can use for two weeks. Then you can buy for about £3. It transforms the P Smart Android music. You get a kind of 'sound lab' after all! Give it a go. Cheers, drew.

You CAN'T transfer apps to SD Card
I didn't know this or I wouldn't have bought it.A LOT of stuff is FAR from intuitive. I couldn't get the thing to switch off originally for exampleWiFi is inexplicably slow -VERY slow on this, and it should if anything be betterIt won't allow apps to be transfered to sd card, my old Motorola and even Xperia Z2 phones had no problems with this.It is slippy in your hand too so I'll need a case definatelyStill learning. BUT it's a gorgeous phone - but a steep learning curve

Great!
I'm very pleased so far, it's easy to set up, specially for an older person, like myself! The phone is so attractive in the matt gold, and simple to use too. Overall, I'm delighted. I bought a case for it, and I also intend to fit a screen protector, as I believe it doesn't have a Gorilla glass screen. (Please correct me if I'm wrong!)I’m still very happy, after a few weeks. I did start getting pop-up ads, but did some googling, and learned what to do. Lovely phone, easy to use.

Very good phone for the price
After buying iPhones and Samsung S series all the time, tried something different for once. Was browsing for P20 and stumbled on this by accident. And turned out to be a very good decision. The device itself costs just 1/4 of an iPhone or S8. But, the device still looks very nice, good memory and storage space. Haven't had any problems with the performance. Liked it so much that when my Mrs' contract ended, she bought the same phone outright instead of upgrading to S9. I don't take many photos, but my Mrs does and she really likes the quality.
