Ordered 1 set of Adaptive Utensils, black handles, and were received early despite being free delivery.They appear to be good quality and, according to my wife who has minimal control of her fingers and cannot hold onto standard utensils, are easy to use and very helpful. She likes the oval shape of the handles in particular, and says they are easy to hold. Recommended at this time, although cannot comment on longevity at this time.

My mother had a stroke a little over a year ago. From time to time, her hands will shake, and she has difficulty eating. I purchased these utensils for her in the hopes she would find it easier to eat. I fixed her a favorite meal, and sat them in front of her. She picked them up easily, and began eating. It was a success. She was able to eat without spilling her food, and without feeling like she was incapable of feeding herself. I recommend these utensils for anyone who has difficulty eating due to tremors, or any other reason which prevents the ability to hold a standard fork or spoon. They work.

I have ostio-arthritis in my hands which prevents me from holding a variety of implements and tools with control. Cutting food is difficult with standard utensils. These utensils make it easy for me to to cut food into bite sized portions without pain or spilling it over the table. They are adaptive in that they can be bent or shaped to proper alignment for individual needs.The handles are of sufficient diameter and texture to enable me to hold them firmly without pain or fear of dropping them. I take them to resIaurants in a plastic bag. No pushback from the restaurants. I should have purchased these particular utensils a long time ago.

Excellent product. I bought one set and then returned for three more. Only complaint is the material on the handle breaks down after four or five months of being washed in our dish washer.

I purchased these utensils for a family member with Parkinson's. Good quality. Handles are made from a durable rubber product and are nicely textured for grip. The knife is serrated, and will be able to cut through meat. The business end of the utensils are made from good quality stainless. I judge my utensils by the bend in the fork and the length of the tines. Both passed my test for comfort and smoothness. I appreciated the note inside of the box suggesting they be hand washed. These shipped quickly. I would buy from this site again.

This are made really well, priced well. My son is 14 and has spastic CP. He likes that they aren't heavy and the wide handles work great with his wrist splints and inability to tightly grasp. Easy to clean, dishwasher safe. Even though he only uses the small spoon and the fork, I'd buy a couple more sets.

Bought this set for my Husband after he had a sudden loss of feeling in his hands. He has found it very helpful to have the larger handles to grip and appreciates that they are not weighted as he has limited strength. It has allowed him to feed himself independently which has been a big boost for his morale. They slip them inside my purse when we are out and about which is a nice plus

Love these utensils! Theyre not heavy, but the larger handles make them easier to handle with my tremors -- and the "remedial" look discourages other people from "borrowing" them. Ive tried heavier "regular" utensils, but they keep disappearing -- people not realizing I have them for more than mere convenience. Purchasing these was an attempt to resolve that issue. The color options are a welcome change from the institutional gray.
