Very fast pc - Great for small busineess.
This laptop is easy to upgrade to 16 gigs from the 8 gigs that it comes with. One screw is loosened and a credit card to pry loose the cover is all it takes. The one 8 Gig piece is a Samsung memory piece and the match for it is here on Amazon at a reasonable price. If you want to supplement the M.2 SSD (Hynix) you have to loosen a second screw. Please note that HP did not provide a conventional SSD mounting bracket with the PC to mount a conventional mechanical HD or SSD. The M.2 from Hynix is only 256 Gigs and out of the box, between the hidden system and other files, you end up with about 190 Gigs. The mounting bracket can be purchased from HP for about $20.00.The PC display is very good and the speed of the 8th Gen Intel chip is super. Backlit keyboard is nice and overall it's working great. I have it about 2 weeks. I'll update if anything changes.

Excellent quality laptop
Overall excellent quality for the price. Excellent camera and touchpad and backlight keyboard. Powerful, but would recommend a RAM upgrade, just get the Crucial 8GB DDR4 stick and stick it in. My personal recommendation is after the RAM upgrade, disable the page file or partition, this will keep any computer from freezing if you are running a program with a massive memory leak of which there are plenty.

Has a non-HP Battery in it which drains right away
This computer is supposed to have long battery life. But it doesn't, and when I spoke to HP, it's because it has a non-HP battery in it. The battery test says: Non-HP Battery detected. This might pose health and safety risks"!!!

I added another 8 gbs of DDR4 ram and another 250 gb SSD internally. It's everything I need now.
