Godzilla: Awakening (Legendary Comics) Hardcover – 13 May 2014

Such a good book :)

First off I was really pleased that I got this graphic novel for such a cheap price £6:50 because it's actually quite long. So the story is very interesting and so are characters we meet but unfortunately the artwork isn't that great Godzilla him self looks good but some other things in the book didn't until the characters explained what they were I was unsure what they were. Overall really good and unique would recommend to fans of thefilm.

Decent artwork and a good companion piece to the movie. However, not as much lore or mythology as I’d have personally liked but that is probably my own bias to that kind of thing.

This was an pre-sequel to the events of the film 'GODZILLA 2014'. The reason why I do not like it (or recommend it) is because of the distracting artwork that often misplaces or convuludes the context of the story. The story itself feels very rushed and has no additional impact on the story of 'Dr Serizawa' whom this story is based around. Godzilla has very little presence in the actual comic and also does not offer much kaiju action you would expect.Overall, the story has no depth to it, none of the characters were likeable and it does not add anything to the main story of 'Godzilla 2014'. The artwork feels inconsistent and Godzilla has literally a few pages that really does not show much other than trying to catch smoke with your bare hands.Not recommended for those whom are fans of Godzilla. There are far better pieces out there that will not lead to eventual dissapointment.

Was expecting a lot more from the reviews others left! art work was pretty poor, story was not smooth at all.

Nice prequel to the film. most enjoyable.

Wasn't expecting much from this prequel and not much is what I got. Decent, but very light reading at best.

It's Godzilla, what more could you ask for.

Great book for my grandson to read.

Gostei muito da história que antecede o filme. Arte muito bem feita e adequada. Recomendo para todos os fãs de Godzilla.

Sin lugar a dudas una de mis mejores compras, me gusta mucho este cómic, muy interesante como de desplaza la historia y como desenlaza, recomendable al 100%
