I don't usually pander to my nerdy side (I'm a software engineer) but this bag was something I had sitting in a wish list for quite a while. It's just so cool, I couldn't resist it's allure. I can't help but smile when I use it. It has been the start of a few conversations amongst people I've met who retell tales of their youth loading cassette tapes for 40minutes to play games and programming basic, typing 10s and 100s of lines on the good ol' Speccy.The bag, it is of very high quality. I'm not sure what type of material it's made from but it feels nice to the touch - it has a sort of rubber feeling. Perhaps to evoke a sense of nostalgia with the 48k Spectrum rubber keys. It's spacious inside though not compartmentalised; you could easily fit a small laptop in it just be aware there is no padding. There is an integrated hard base that can put down to stiffen the base or folded up if you don't want a solid base. An internal pocket hanging from backside of the bag is large enough to hold a wallet, coins, phone, usb key - or at least that's what I put in there.My only disappointment with the bag is the strap. I won't dock marks for this but I think it could be of higher quality. A knitted nylon strap just looks a little tacky and is not particularly comfortable to wear and it slips a lot. Shame they didn't put together something using both the knitted nylon and the bag material and perhaps have a padded grip to go round the strap to pad your shoulder.Overall I love this bag, and for the price it's great quality and looks cool. It's now the bag I use most when traveling short journeys.

Really good quality and the printing is pin sharp, I don't know why some people have said the bag comes with a plastic shoulder strap, this is not true, the strap is made of fabric.Over all the bad looks awesome and the build quality is excellent.

This is a sports bag like we took to school in the 80s. I'm not sure how much of kicking it'll survive, but it's got a Speccy on the front, and a soft nice tactile material (probably not the toughest), and is the perfect size for storing the bundle of padded bags I keep my take anywhere repro Spectrum Next set-up in, so I'm very happy with it.Handles would have been handy, but you can tighten the strap up to pretty much use as a handle.

I got this for myself because I really liked the retro look from my old days.... however my seven year old son has taken it off me and takes it to school as his book bag. Great bag and good strap made of material not PVC, I would recommend it!

Regretted not buying this bag when I saw it in a shop at a much higher price. Glad to get one from Amazon. Previous reviews refer to the strap not being fabric, but the one I received does have a fabric strap and is "Vitamin t" branded. I love it.

Love this little retro gem. Truly for the 70's and 80's child all grown up! My only very small gripe that stops it from getting 5 stars is the material is very easy to show oily finger marks, maybe a material version could be an option? But hey it does look amazing when you give it a rub.

I had one of these excellent bags and needed a replacement. Unfortunately, the dimensions have changed and it is now too small to hold my laptop. More handbag than manbag now. Very disappointed.
