What sets this apart from others is that the bag containing the herb was contained in another plastic bag to preserve freshness. I've never seen that before, and as far as mainatining freshness is concerned, it is a great idea, though I hate to see more plastic in our landfills. The herb seem strong, as evidenced by it's flavor, smell, and effects, which are noticeable, especially if combined with caffine. If they keep the price the same, this would definately be a good go-to brand. I will buy it again.

At the time I first started on this ginseng, I was working 60 to 70 hrs a week. I was really dragged out cuz I got up at 2:30 am to work10 hr days. Within a short time I noticed the tiredness I had been accustomed to was gone.Now just ordered my second one. Like other reviewers this ginseng is pretty strong use caution when dosing yourself til your used to it. Couple of times I became real jittery after taking it so I back off a little and was fine. Love this product.

I don't think this is a bad product. I love most of the products I have used from this brand. Fairly affordable great products. It might just be that herb itself is better as a full spectrum herb opposed to an extract because the plain herb powder from monterey bay works much better for energy than this.
