Just because it fits doesn’t mean it works
Just because a cord fits the Garman does not mean it will download. This cord is made to download the updates.

Great charger cable
I am using it to charge a Rand McNally 720 GPS,it works great and unobstructed,what else can I say? I wish it was shorter,it is 6 feet,so there is a lot of slack to roll up,I didn t find a shorter one,even so,it works great,I d recommend it and would buy it again...in fact I will,to have a spare for my other GPS units.

Works great for updating your Garmin
Great value for updating maps and software. However it has no radio antenna and will not support traffic updates to a GPS that offers traffic updates. Otherwise, it also works fine for powering non-traffic GPS devices from USB-A ports in the car.

This cord works well
I have been using this to power my dash cam in place of a cigarette burner port charger and it has worked well. Works well, would recommend.
