Effective Carbon Monoxide Detector – Requires Constant Power Source
This carbon monoxide detector works really well in my RV, providing peace of mind. However, it’s important to note that the batteries only last about 10 minutes, so you’ll need a continuous power source. It’s best used when connected to a campsite power supply or to your inverter and RV batteries. Despite that, it’s reliable and a must-have safety device. Just be sure you’re prepared to keep it powered at all times!

Gas and carbon monoxide monitor
Love this thing. It's small design makes it easy to put anywhere in the house. It's durable and it's easy to function. It plugs into the wall so no need to replace batteries. Great value for the price!

Good product, but needs louder alarm.
I like the size and ease of use, but honestly the talking alarm needs to be louder. A single tone alert siren ala First Alert would make this a tremendous overall value.

Functional
This carbon monoxide detector works. It is easy to set up. You plug it in and it will detect carbon monoxide and gas levels. You can test the alarm by pressing the self-test button. So far my levels is 0%. Worth the value.

Replacement for detectors that lasted 10 years. They were easy to install. Just plug in and wait a minute or two for detectors to sense levels. I like that they give you gas and CO specific levels.

False and dangerous advertising
These items are sold as carbon monoxide and Natural Gas detectors on the Amazon site. Unfortunately after reading the tiny direction packet, this is not the case. These items are primarily carbon monoxide detectors! The directions state that and discourage testing the item for natural gas and butane gas, because testing could destroy the item. Seriously!?I have included the statement section of the directions that warn against testing and state that the item is not to be used for natural gas. Now there are many types of gasses, but you would think that the gas people want the alarm for is the natural gas used in the home. Yes I know most people can smell natural gas, but there are those of us who have lost our sense of smell. So we need a natural gas detector.I was thrilled that this item had a battery backup. Most Natural gas detectors rely on electrical plugs. The problem with this is that in an earthquake, the power can go out and you may have a natural gas leak.I did test one of the items on the stove using a 9 volt battery for power for a few minutes. There was no alarm. Sadly this item does not work for Natural gas.I have included the section of the directions that I discussed as well as the Google explanation of the type of gas most homes use.
