Why is a bit of plastic so expensive?
At first I was worried my kids might figure out a way to open the incredibly flimsy lock. However, I quickly realised that wouldn't be a problem as they easily poke a coffee stirer through the large slits in the side and crank the dial up to full again.

Flimsy cover, pulls off with little resistance
cover easily removed from bracket with little force. Opposite side of locking mechanism opens with little resistance.

Great product
I bought this to keep my toddler from turning my heat up to 100°. Was easy to install, I was able to screw it right to the wall around my thermostat. Took only a few minutes to put up. Durable, easy to use and toddler resistant.

Despite the depth it just barely fit my Thermostat
Didn't use the opaque bottom plate cover, I just used the frame and that barely fit over the thermostat. Had to force it a bit to get around the thermostat. Over good quality and does what its suppose to.
