Was worried that I was making a bit of a gamble buying this after reading some reviews.. but honestly, it is absolutely amazing. Couldn't fault it in any way

This monitor is fine for MS Windows. But if you want to use this on a Mac, set your expectations accordingly.This is a Mac problem, not a monitor problem. Apple have optimised font rendering for extremely high PPI displays (retina). Fonts will look fine rendered on a 4K or 5K ultrawide monitor, but on anything in between text will look a bit fuzzy. A lot of people are perfectly fine with this. I'm not OK with it as eventually I start to get headaches. I returned this monitor and increased my budget to the LG 5K2K display which I'm now happy with.

I recently bought and returned two of these. The first one had 1/8 inch diameter piece of dust stuck near the top while the second had a dead subpixel within 2 days of owning it.The worst part of these monitors though is that the screen is much warmer on one side and cooler on the other (this seems to be an issue with all the 38 inch monitors that use the LG made 38 inch LCD panel). It's distractingly bad. It's so bad that even when programming on a dark background I could notice the text and background have a color shift as i looked from left to right.The buttons on these monitors are also hard to reach and terribly designed. Overall I wouldn't recommend this 38 inch monitor.

Love the Size of this Montior. For work it is great working on spreadsheets as you do not have to go across 2 screen. It is easy on the eyes. The software include works great on windows but it has problems on the MAC side. I had to get a another program called switchresx in order to setup the 3840x1600 at 60 hz on the MacBook Pro 16". One I got that setup the monitor display looks great. It works great with photo editing. The only problem I have is how buggy the software is for the MAC. The software allow you to split your screen to different sizes and to do both PBP and PinP. I found on the MAC side it will just crash if you switch to your other machine. I have my Mac setup on the USB-c side and it passes Video, keyboard and mouse without problem. IF the monitor is on it will provide power to the laptop. Overall I think this is a great monitor and I am now looking at getting a second one.

Den Bildschirm habe ich zur Bearbeitung von Digitalaufnahmen angeschaft.Er ist mächtig groß (wollte ich so), hat eine sehr gute Auflösung und ist auch für Video bestens geeignet.Die Installation ist probelmlos und einfach. Bildschirm zusammenstecken, Stromkabel rein und den HDMI-Ausgang nutzen. Fertig. Mit meinen Speider X von Datacolor kalibrieren und loslegen.

Siehe Titel. Mehr braucht man meines Erachtens nach nicht zu sagen. Die Qualität ist super, die Farben top. Kontraste passen überdurchschnittlich. Das er zum Gamen nicht sonderlich geeignet ist (zumindest für schnelle Shooter) sollte jedem klar sein. Tomb Raider, Diablo, Siedler und so Games lassen sich aber Problemlos zocken.
