Mielle Organics Rosemary Mint Scalp & Edge Cleansing Oil, 4 Ounce

Love the way it sometimes tingles at the roots. It’s a great scalp treatment and helps the growth and health of my hair.

This hair oil is awesome!! My boyfriend and I have naturally curly hair, and we love the Mielle brand. We use this product for when we braid our hair or even for our natural curly days. Not a bad price.

Since using this oil, my hair has stayed hydrated, it smells good and very effective with staying shinny. My hair also appears thicker as well.

Received quickly and exactly as descrbed. Smells great and soaks in rapidly. No greasy feeling. .I used on my scalp and it really helped with the itchiness. Shampooed and it did not leave any oily residue behind.

I know this is a cleansing oil but it leaves the hair oily and perhaps that is desired for some, but you would have to wipe this away if you aren't looking to have your scalp look like a oil slick. I can see how this would break down hard gel etc from edge control and things as it's an oil and oil breaks up sticky products. But if this is meant to cleanse the scalp with protective styles I'm not sure this would prolong the style or cause it to break down sooner because the oil will dissolve the gel. I think this would be best to use to take out your protective style and give the scalp some moisture during the process.Other thing to note was in shipment this product is not protected or wrapped in plastic or anything. My first shipment the top was missing and I had to request for an exchange and return a container with a missing cap to Whole Foods in which it leaked everywhere so not sure why it asked me to return it. When I got the new one it was just placed in a bubble package and no plastic was around it to keep it protected so I can see where this product may have a lot of shipping issues or the top fall off and leak on other things in the package. It just feels sloppy and like someone already could of used the product as you aren't removing a seal. This should be fixed ASAP.The product does smell nice like mint and possibly tea tree oil.
