Received it today and have already played a lot up until writing this review. No complaints so far, as it cost me less than $20. The instructions advise not to use a fast charger for charging, as I believe they're using Nokia batteries from the old days when chargers were pretty standard, not fast like today's chargers. Don't compare the screen resolution of this device with that of current cellphones or tablets; it wasn't a deal-breaker for me, as I remember resolution wasn't very good in the '90s either. However, you can connect it to the TV for a better experience since those cables are also provided. I haven't connected it to my TV yet, but I might share my experience in the future if I do.

The first one we purchased didn't work so I sent it back, the second one we bought worked but We didn't find out until afterward that the remote with a long cord is only used for if you have a second player. You cannot use the handheld remote for single player mode. He mainly likes to play on the television so he has to hold the game itself to play in the court isn't very long which is a major downfall for us.I wouldn't purchase it again.

I purchased this for my grandson. When it arrived I wanted to make sure to charge it before giving it to him. I was happy to see it already had a charge. As soon as my husband saw it he stole it from me and played his favorite classic game for almost an hour. I guess I need to get him one for his birthday too! It came preloaded with games. It responds well tot he buttons. It comes with a USB charging cord. I was inexpensive so I was happy with everything I got for be price.

Will not charge

I got this nifty game console for myself and the hubby. But since then my kids have stolen it and said the LOVE it. It works well and there are so many games on it that it keeps them occupied for hours if I let them. Definitely worth the price.

This is a fantastic game for less than $20 and I'm so happy with the purchase. It brings back such fun memories as I played Mario Brothers the minute I received it. I bought it for my kids as a no fuss game for long car rides, restaurants, etc since it's small and easy to bring around.
