Source Global Bold Pole Adjustable Curtain Rod Set, 144-Inch to 240-Inch, Gold

I read man reviews for this product and others before deciding to purchase this one. I am very happy with my choice. I love the look, they look great extended above my very large floor to ceiling windows at 175 inches wide. I wanted a rod with a substantial diameter, so that they didn't looked cheep and thin. I did not see anything comparable in quality or style at this price point. Buy them! I am taking one star off, because one( of the 4) finials was manufactured incorrectly and cannot be used. They send you 2 sets of rods, and you combine the extendable polls together to get the desired longer length. So, I only need 2 of the 4 finials. I used a flat/matte black spray paint to refinish these, because I dI'd not like the higher sheen.

Great product- I used it span a 16 FT series of French doors (3 sets of doors). Don't believe the reviews that say this doesn't meet the advertised length.Pros* Strength, no rod sags- able to install a 16 FT length with only 3 supports. One on each end plus one in the middle. Rod does not sag at all. Allows you to open the curtains all the way and bunch them closest to wall vs. having many bunches on the wall if more supports were req'd* Appearance- brushed nickel provides a contemporary look* Easy to install. Rods assemble easily by installing the smaller diameter pieces into the larger diameter and then alternating the fitsCons* Rod is a bit thick. Make sure curtains have large enough hole to fit thru rod* When sliding curtains back and forth, sometimes they get stuck on the transition between rods. Requires a little tug to free it. This is to be expected given the length it spans and the number of rods required to meet the req'd length.Would buy this again in a heartbeat!

Good product at a reasonable price that is well made, easy to install and functional. Had difficulty finding a 19 foot long rod and this one worked very well. As other reviewers have noted, they send you two of the shorter rods (86 to 144 inch) to form the one rod that adjusts up to 240 inches. Unlike some of the other reviews stated, this was not a problem. We received both sets in the same package. The instructions are easy to follow and the two sets go together easily to form the longer rod. Also, because you are getting two sets they are more than enough support brackets for the long distance and you end up with extra hardware (brackets, end pieces, screws). Once installed this worked well and there is no sag over the 19 foot length. Would purchase this again.

Works great and no sag in the middle!!! I used this to hang curtains over our patio doors. I wanted the ability to slide the curtain all the way open so having a brace in the middle was not something I wanted so I took my chances with this rod and am very satisfied with it. I have five somewhat heavy grommet panels on it and there is no sag in the middle! Great product and would I would recommend this to a friend.

Bought this rod and two shorter ones for our living room. Solid sturdy construction. Easy to mount, but we needed to buy better mollies. The ones that were provided are way to flimsy. At first I was surprised because this length of curtain rod is actually 2 of the shorter rod sets sent in one package. You have to combine the two sets into one very long set, but instructions are included and all went well. What I really like about this curtain rod is that it was so sturdy that we still only needed 3 wall mounts to cover 177 inch window! Very pleased.

This curtain rod is very attractive and installs easily. But the rims of the adjustable pole pieces stick out where they join. So the curtain grommets get stuck when I open and close the curtains. Which means I have to lift each and every grommet over the "hump." If you're going to use these for stationary curtains, you won't notice a problem. But if you're going to open and close them, it's a hassle. I'm considering wrapping each hump with clear packing tape, but would like to hear from anyone who has found a better solution.

I ordered the 48"-86" rod in "Gold" but package I received is marked "Metallic Gold" and is nothing like the image shown. I would say the finish is more of a "champagne" or even a "gilver" (somewhere between a gold and a silver) with a DEFINITE brushed finish with strie marks. The rod will not work in the space I had planned, but since the quality seems awesome for the price (heavy metal and thick 1.5" diameter), I will keep the rod and use it in another space. I am bummed the "gold" isn't what the image conveys! See attached images for a more accurate finish example.

Ours just arrived and we immediately unpacked to install. However, the central rod has a plastic collar that is present on one end and missing on the other end. The missing component will affect the side-to-side movement of the curtain, especially because the curtains are heavy. While the set looked as heavy-duty as I was hoping otherwise, this flaw is causing us to return it. Below you'll see a picture of the end without the plastic collar, and then the end with one.
