I purchased this wallet in January 2024 and it is still going strong and basically looks brand new. I absolutely love it. I don't like to carry a lot of stuff with me and don't like a big wallet. This will comfortably carry 3 cards (possibly 4 if you really jam it in there...). It does exactly what it says it will and it does it well. Make sure to actually read the instructions when you get it for setting it up!Pros:Attaches magnetically to the back of any iPhone with magsafe. Very secure fit.Can be used as a money clip when closedCan be used as a stand on a tableCan make your wallet make noise when you can't find it.Can see wallet's location in FindMyEasy connectionCons:Makes your phone much more bulky. I carry my wallet in my front pocket for the most part and pull this wallet out to use it as a phone stand when I need one. However, if youre going out to the bars or something, it's nice to attach this to your phone. For some reason, we are far less likely to forget our phone than our wallets!... Can't forget your wallet if it is attached to your phone.All in all - great wallet. I highly recommend this company's iPhone cases too. Very strong magnets and hold up very well over time. Any complaints I have were solved by customer service, which is why I still gave 5 stars. Read to end for details.Wallet, phone stand, holder loop, and "Find My" functionality ... There is simply no other product on the market with this many features. Let's analyse them one-by-one:As a wallet, it holds one card with the same reliability as three, even after extended use. The hole at the bottom allows cards to be pushed up and accessed with ease. This feature also requires you to move the holder loop to push the cards up, but that's fine. Wallet is the primary function, and it excels as such. No criticisms here.Holder loop--sturdy and easy to hold the phone by, but after a month, the plastic lining cracked and loop came loose. It could be reattached, but was never as stable. Still functional, though.Phone stand--super useful feature, especially for someone with a lot of desk/computer time. After two months, unfortunately, the tension hinge broke. As a mechanical part, the hinge can only last so long, but I had hoped to get more longevity out of a $40-$50 product. With care, the stand can still be propped up, but phone will fall over easily. I'm going to chalk this up to a faulty hinge and hopefully an isolated incident.Find My functionality--easy to charge and long lasting battery. When I leave it somewhere, my phone promptly tells me, which has proved useful more than once. No criticisms here.I wrote to ESR regarding the loop and the hinge, and they responded in less than 24 hours with a thoughtful message and mailed out a replacement. So part of the product's value is that ESR will stand behind it and take care of their customers.All in all, I recommend highly.

So I just received this today after using a popsocket wallet for a little over 3 years. Wanted something that looked a little nicer and did not have the bulky socket part.First impressions... Think we are paying at least $5 for the packaging.. Don't get me wrong, I like a good unboxing experience, but in 2024 I don't feel like it has nearly the impact it did before, especially with everything costing so much more. I think ESR might have a better unboxing appearance than Apple, which I did not think would ever happen.Overall build and look is really good. I do believe the strap needs to go back to R&D, I don't feel like its implemented very well. When I got this in hand, that was the first thing I saw that I knew would be cause issues. After looking through the reviews, it seems like I was not wrong in that possibility. Plus side, looks like ESR has replaced those units.The magnet is crazy strong. I have an awkward case, the back is not 100% flat due to the bezel around the camera. Even though its not fully flush to the back of the case, its locked in there rock solid. I don't believe anyone would have any issues with this not securing to your phone.I find getting the cards out to be a little difficult in comparison to what I'm used too. Getting the cards out also requires you to push the strap up to fully get the cards pushed. I believe this could be part of the reason behind the strap wearing out. Your thumb likely is not applying pressure directly up, its likely applying some pressure to the sides thus adding wear. I'm also not 100% sure how the retention design will work over a long period of time. Its hard to see the internal workings, but I am concerned that the material will loosen up over time resulting in the cards becoming loose; only time will tell on that though.The options you have for setting the phone down on a table and watching a movie or doing a facetime call is really nice. The phone is very stable and sturdy, its rock solid in landscape or portrait.FindMy setup was a breeze and seems to work perfectly. I've personally never have lost my magsafe wallet, its on my phone and I always know were my phone is. I feel like the FindMy feature is a bit of a gimmick, at least the way I use my wallet, but maybe that is not the case for some people. I personally see no reason to remove your wallet from your phone and not slap it back right afterwards; but that is just me.Overall I think its a pretty good wallet. I do feel the price point is a bit high, but they are really getting their money out of that findmy feature. As mentioned, I just received this today, so I'll update my review as I actually use the wallet.

I dont see it wearing down like my apple one did - which was tearing apart at the card entry slot and also losing its leather sheen. Meanwhile this ESR case also has find my capabilities. It isn’t as precise as air tags but it has a very useful sound locating option that plays a fairly loud sound when searching in the find my app. Also the find my app functions very well as it’ll tell you when you’ve left it behind. Now I don’t feel worried to take it off if I need to charge wirelessly because I’m less likely to forget itSuper strong magnet, nice option to orient it two ways for viewing.In a way also provides protection from falls on its back and when placing down on a table.Overall really nice wallet. Only downside is it isn’t as slim as the apple one but way more functional and tbh durable too
