Initially, I purchased the EVICIV 15.6" Portable Touchscreen Monitor (FHD 1080P, IPS, 10-Point Touch, with Built-in Speakers) to pair with my Raspberry Pi 5 in a HAM Radio Solar Generator Go Box (summer field day is just around the corner). However, after unboxing and setting it up, I was so impressed that I decided to use it as a secondary desktop display instead.The monitor arrived promptly and securely packaged, and setup was an absolute breeze. The touchscreen is highly responsive, the image quality is crisp and vibrant, and I really appreciated that all the necessary cables were included, a thoughtful detail that made the experience seamless.There is honestly nothing I would change about this monitor. It performs flawlessly and has exceeded my expectations in every way. I’m already considering purchasing a second one to replace my primary monitor, and I still need a Go Box monitor (3rd LOL).Highly recommended for anyone looking for a competitively priced, high-quality, plug-and-play portable display—whether for field use, hobby projects, or everyday productivity.

The 18.5" touchscreen monitor was my first purchase of this kind for work use. The screen size and the VESA mounting are just right for what I need. The display quality looks crisp. The screen is also very glossy, which I am sort of ok but my other colleagues like that a lot. The USB ports are convenient and just enough for my needs. The touch response is fast and works the way I want. The product is so good that I purchase another 15.6" touchscreen monitor for my home use, which also works like a champ!

I got this monitor for a very niche gaming purpose and also to have the touchscreen functionality when I don't want to have more peripherals along with me. I seem to keep wanting a slightly larger portable monitor, as I've also gotten another smaller one for the same purpose.The monitor was packaged well and arrived in perfect condition.As for the niche gaming purpose I have this monitor for, it has worked great so far. No complaints. It is 120hz, the color looks great (I'm not 100% sure the color accuracy, but I cannot complain), and the contrast seems on point. I even played a bit of my PS5 on here just for fun (and to see if it could power the monitor itself via the front panel Type-C, it can!) and it looks great.I haven't had a chance to really test the touchscreen yet. It just hasn't been necessary. I plug it into my laptop and just don't need to use it. It does work, I just don't use it much at all. As with most screens and touching them, it does smudge easily, but it's just as easy to clean.Included are a ton of cables, such as the required HDMI to Mini HDMI for the Mini HDMI port the monitor has. There are three total ports, the Mini HDMI, and two Type-C. On the other side is a single button as well as a little flick-styled button for navigating monitor menus. The other cables included are two Type-C to Type-C as well as a USB to Type-C. There's also a wall outlet that takes Type-C for powering the monitor. As a final treat, they included four M4, 4mm VESA mount screws, if you decide to mount the monitor.The cover is also very nice and comes attached to the monitor. You can easily unscrew it from the monitor if you prefer not to have it, but it doubles as a quick stand, so I prefer to keep it on. Especially since I take this with me with my laptop.The brightness setting is one of the only cons I've seen, and this is only when not using HDR. When HDR is off, if you don't set the monitor to either FPS or RTS 'game mode', the brightness is just a smidge darker than I'd prefer. Once you set it to one of the above mentioned 'game modes' it brightens up to a perfect brightness.I didn't buy this monitor for the speakers, but they work well. If you plan on streaming or gaming, the speakers will do just fine. However, if you like your volume loud, then you might want to add some speakers to the setup.For a portable monitor with these specs, it is a little expensive, however I do really like it and it has been nothing but great so far. If I run into any issues I will try to update this review!
