Woke me from sleep!
I liked it until it came on in the middle of the night and woke me out of sleep. Then it wouldn’t shut off. Couldn’t dim the light nothing. Returning it!

Does the job of magnifying and lighting, but...
Pros: good light quality and amount of magnifying space needed for the cross stitch crafts I make.Cons: the hands-free bar that is applied to the magnifier is flexible but still does not get to a shape that allows for adequate placement around my neck. I have to prop a pillow behind me to help hold the bar in place; otherwise it falls too far forward and interferes with the crafting space I need. So long as I sit with the pillow behind me to support the bar, then this works as I need it to. I just wish I didn't need to have to put the pillow because any little shift or movement then requires me to shift/move the pillow and reposition the bar. EDIT: and as others here have experienced, mine got to the point where it would NOT turn off. The concept of this product is great, but the execution leaves a lot to be desired.

Great for stubborn spouse syndrome
My husband has needed bifocals for a long time. Every time we go out to eat he has lots of trouble seeing the menu. He refuses to buy magnifying lenses. He has trouble seeing in low light. I love this magnifier because of the bright light. I also love that it is powerful enough for him to read even the very smallest print. I didn't tell him I was getting it. I just pulled it out of my tote bag when we were getting something to eat one day. The look on his face was priceless. I think he has finally seen the error of his ways. We've had this for a little over a month now and he always asks if I brought it in my bag for him. I think he's mostly worried about the way the glasses were going to look on his face then the looks he's getting from people using this large magnifier. I'm just thrilled he can read the menu.

Not a good product
This magnifying glass is supposedly forlow vision seniors. It’s almost impossible for a person with normal vision to find the hole to plug in the charging cable or the button to turn on/off the lights. At least it should have beenof another color that contrasts with black. Also, the back of the magnifying glass is not smooth but lined, which makes it very difficult to focus. Not a well thought product.

Handy Gadget!
We do a lot of reading, and the print seems to get smaller every year. This lighted magnifier is really helpful at seeing the printed page more clearly. I anticipate it will also be helpful for stitching (embroidery and mending) in the winter months ahead. The neck holder is comfortable and well-designed. I’m really glad we can add this device to the products that help us age more comfortably.

Awkward unit
I’m still trying to figure out the best way to use this. I can’t give it a 5 star and maybe once I figure it out and master it I’ll give it a 5, but in good conscience I can’t do it just yet.
