I live on the top floor, and my kids kept opening the sliding window, which made me really anxious. I bought this window lock purely for safety, and it’s been a lifesaver! It was super easy to install and fits snugly on the window track.Since putting it in, the kids haven’t been able to open the window at all. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing they’re safe, especially being so high up. The lock feels sturdy and secure, and it doesn’t damage the window or frame.If you have curious little ones and live in a high-rise or upper floor, I highly recommend this!

I received this window lock for my kids window, just to be safe. I received for locks and 4 tools with the black top. Those tool doesn't work for my window. The silver tool does work but they only give you 1. Would be nice to put an extra one in just incase the other one gets lost. I could just purchase. I do recommend this product to anyone who have little kids to be safe.

Bought these because we like to leave our windows open for air, but I needed to feel safe that people wouldn't climb through the windows. They were very easy to install and use. They fit perfectly on all of our windows as well as the sliding door. They are just enough that I notice them because I installed them but no one else notices them until they try to open the window or door further than we want it to open. They are light weight and I like that the color (silver) pretty much blends into everything.

I bought this for the 2nd floor window of my son's room. I really don't want him to be able to open the window more than willing, my only concern about this is, if there is a fire it would take a bit to get it loose to get out. However, the chances of him opening the window and falling from it is also a very real possibility. They work really well to keep the window or even our sliding door from opening more than I want it to. The only problem I have though is that the wing of the black key is so wide that it makes it hard to turn. I had to use the silver key and do intervals of turning.

I installed some window AC units and didn't want to put holes in my window frams to lock them in, so I got these to keep them in place and they are working perfectly!

I live on the terrace level, easy to install and good for my autistic son not to remove.

These worked perfectly on late model PGT vinyl windows & were simple to install. Provide a nice add’l layer of security to both vertical & horizontal sliders & look good in place.

It didn't fit with wanting to use it for a mirrored slider closet door to lock. Unsuccessful I tried. On to the next.
