I bought this because I like the vintage look. Plus, the spiral reminds me of elves in Lord of the Rings. Assembly took a few minutes, but was easy. Perfect lighting for reading or near office desk, as well as the entire room. The base is very sturdy and weighty, ensuring it won't fall over.

I bought two of these to replace an old standing floor lamp that came with the house that had a broken lampshade as well as a cheap 20 dollar college dorm-esque one from Target.I was initially disappointed with the first one because the threading on the last segment was crooked and I was getting ready to have to go to return it, but figured I might as well just assemble the second one just in case it has the same issue. The second one was assembled with no problems and while doing the second one I realized that the silver threaded pieces are their own individual pieces entirely. Using a set of channel lock pliers, rubber mechanic’s gloves, and some elbow grease I was able to unseat and properly reseat the threaded piece and fixed my issue.I wasn’t paying close enough attention to see if it was factory threaded that way or if it was just user error, but I very well may have not lined that segment up properly causing it to thread in crooked and get stuck, so if anyone is having issues with that specifically, it doesn’t need to be returned. It can be fixed with some common household tools and something to give you some extra grip. Just make sure the teeth of whatever tool you’re using doesn’t strip or damage the actual threading.The actual assembly for each can be done without instructions. It’s very self explanatory and each took less than 10 minutes sans the small repair job on the first one.

I was surprised by how good this lamp looks. Beauty is subjective to be sure, but I can't imagine very many people not appreciating what a really good looking lamp this is. It's also very solid. I was worried when it showed up in a relatively small box because the lamp post is a few pieces that have to be screwed together, but the whole assembly took maybe 10 minutes, it wasn't difficult, and even the lightbulbs were included! It's very solid and heavy and looking at it even picking set up, one would never know that it was a relatively inexpensive lamp that had to be assembled. It's also got a fairly heavy base which I personally like. And I'm guessing they're a good structural reasons for that, since antique lamps that this lamp seems to have been inspired by, they often had marble bases or were otherwise heavy like this one. And both the lampshades are glass and they must've been packed pretty well because they arrived completely intact. Finally, there was a minor issue with mine, but I sent a message asking about it and I got what has to be the fastest response I've gotten in almost 30 years on Amazon. And the seller didn't just respond quickly but it was a very helpful impolite reply. There is no doubt that the next time I need a lamp, or anyone I know needs a lamp, this will be my recommendation, and I would definitely also look at anything else they sell because it's a great price for an absolutely gorgeous lamp with exceptional customer service (meaning the customer service reply by the actual seller and not Amazon itself).

UPDATE: from 5 stars to 4 stars. Picture was taken and below review was written when I initially received my lamp. I liked the lamp so much, I ordered an additional one. I gave this lamp 4 stars because occasionally lamp tilts, and I have to straighten it out by twisting a section.********I'm very pleased with my lamp. I chose red brown, 2 head. White glass shades are not cheap looking. Pole stand is sturdy and straight. Smaller gooseneck lamp stem stays secure in desired position. Packaged well. Easy to assemble. 2 bulbs included.

These floor lamps were packaged carefully and were in great condition when we unboxed them and put them together. These are beautiful, quality-made lamps and very sturdy. We love them! They were easy to put together and we appreciated that they came with the lightbulbs. Great value for the money! They are exactly as described and exactly what we wanted.

I bought 2 of these and they brought such a cozy ambience to my living room. The lights are the perfect brightness. They are very sturdy, seem to be quality material, and they look elegant. The lower adjustable lamp is great! So happy with them!!

I bough two of these lamps; the glass is very beautiful and it's a heavy base so it is sturdy.Unfortunately one keeps turning off and won't turn on unless I manually mess around with the bulb; it's not a matter of the bulb not being screwed in enough as I have to finagle around with loosening and tightening it to get it in just the precise spot to turn it back on (yet if I turn it off, it's most definitely not turning back on unless I go mess with it again).Also, assembling this thing can be a nightmare in terms of the packaging it comes with; the Styrofoam breaks off and flakes into quite literally hundreds of pieces and is incredibly tedious to clean up afterwards.

This lamp is easy to put together in 15 minutes. It is gorgeous, very heavy-duty weighted base, with dark brown metal with glass lamp shades. Has a vintage vibe to it. Incredible price.

Beautiful lamp, good quality. I like that it came with a light bulb as well. Base has some weight to it for more stability which I like. Easy assemble and fast delivery. I highly recommend!

Good quality with both shades being glass and heavy base. Nice adjustable reading light. Color is more of a dark brown. No red at all which is nice.

I bought this lamp for the man cave so that I can do my needlework, cross stitch while spending time with my husband in the man cave. It's perfect. I can move the lower lamp around to suit me but I'm finding more often than not my husband is using the top lamp instead of the pot lights in the room. It wasn't an expensive lamp but it is doing the job well.
