12 cans of gun grade expanding foam, new foam gun and tin of cleaner for £75.00 bargain. Used for filling gaps in insulation, just as good as the many other makes I have e used over the years.

It offers a fantastic package of 12 cans, along with a professional applicator gun and a 500ml cleaner – a complete kit for any DIY or construction project.The foam itself has impressive adhesion. It bonds securely to a variety of surfaces, from wood to masonry, creating a hardened structure once cured. I used it for insulating around door frames and window mounts, and it provided a strong, moisture-resistant seal. Plus, its thermal insulation performance is top-notch. A mammoth multiple pack of twelve 750ml cans of expanding foam, with a very handy applicator gun and foam gun cleaner included in the set.I have used expanding foam on quite a few occasions for various different projects and it has always come in handy for filling those large gaps that other projects do not provide the right results or coverage.I have to say, I think that this particular brand of foam is probably something that is used professionally, as it not only has a great wide range of coverage per can. In addition, it can be used across a very diverse range of jobs and materials including, wood, glass, metal, plastic, concrete and more.This expanding foam is not only appropriate for filling large gaps, but it can also be used as a thermal/insulation foam, which in part is what my reason for wanting this product to insulate areas of a summerhouse to keep it warmer during the winter months. Another benefit here is that this foam is resistant to changing temperatures/weather conditions, as it has anti-mould properties to prevent it breaking down/rotting. That said, this doesn’t have UV protection, so is more suited for internal projects, rather than exterior ones.As claimed, this foam has fantastic adhesion to all materials and sets perfectly to a hardened form, which can then be cut/sawn, sanded and painted.The foam in conjunction with using the application gun makes this a breeze to use, as it means that the can is kept upside down, for good steady flow and the long nozzle helps you apply the foam in hard to reach places that you would otherwise be able to reach.Of course, whilst expanding foam is a great product for a multitude of jobs and none so more than this set, which provides fantastic results. However, do be sure to take great caution when using it, as this type of product has huge potential to cause some serious health issues, of which some you will know about straight away and others you won’t. Take precautions and wear appropriate PPE and use in a well-ventilated environment and you should be fine.This is a really good value for money set at £84.99 (at the time of writing this review) and one that if you add up all of the contents and purchased separately would cost you approximately £20 more to buy everything individually.I would very much recommend this product and especially if you have a large project to complete or even if you want to use some now and keep some in reserve for the future. Either way, this is a really great product with great results.

Have used 1 can of this so far to seal around the frame of my garage door and will be using more to seal all the nooks, crannies and anywhere else drafts occur. Easy to attach to the gun and the trigger operation and slim nozzle makes precise application a breeze compared to the basic single shot throw away tins you have to use 'upside down'.Great inclusion of the cleaner too so it will be ready for its next use without it being clogged.I suppose 12 tins may be a bit much for your average DIY'er but its always handy to have and can make a good packing material if squirted into a plastic bag and then held around the object till it expands and sets.Good stuff and happy to recommend.

I think this just boils down to cost. Those like me who use a lot of this stuff know that at your local DIY store, they're ~ £6 a can for 750ml, £7 for a can of cleaner and £22 for a gun. Add it all up and it would cost you over £100 locally. At £79.99 currently this is quite a saving (though it is currently out of stock!).It performs exactly the same as local DIY store brands, and I'd go as far as saying the red gun is nicer than your average cheap generic gun applicator.Not much else to say really, no brainer if you use it a lot or have a big job ready (insulating a garage or something).Just one thing to note, if you clean the end of the tip every time like I do, 1 can of cleaner won't see you very long unless you are doing 1 big job on the day.Also don't forget while this stuff appears to be exterior grade, it will degrade if exposed to UV light. Get yourself some waterfall expanding foam/adhesive for exterior exposed work.
