I admit we love advent items and counting down to Christmas. Have done many different types from legos and more. This is the first time we have bought a puzzle. Got this for my wife who loves puzzles.Obviously have not done it yet, but did open it to check out the pieces and try to get an idea of the quality. Seems well made and looks like the pieces will fit together well. Should have more info after Christmas plus wife's input.Again, so far seem like a very nice item.

We are looking forward to using this a a family this year. The quality seems ok and the box is quite lovely. Hopefully there are no missing pieces.

This is a perfect way to celebrate Advent in preparation for Christmas. Inside the box are 24 individual boxes, each with a section of the puzzle inside. The boxes have clearly labeled the day of advent as well as a unique Christmas quote, blessing, or saying on one end. The pieces are sturdy as most puzzles out there and seem to be average looking pieces without any special "shaped" pieces. The final image is a beautiful image of the Holy Family and a wonderful reminder of the reason for the season. I also appreciate that they did include a poster to show the final result of the puzzle. Adults may not need it, but young children may appreciate the assistance. This is perfect for our puzzle-loving household, and I could see it becoming a great tradition for future Advents.

I am such a huge fan of Christmas Advent Calendar puzzles! These are such a fun activity to do with your family at Christmas time - we love doing these every year. This puzzle calendar is a great quality with nice colors and graphics. The pieces fit nicely together. Definitely recommend!

I love this idea for an Advent Calendar that truly embraces the reason for the season! The box is filled with 24 individual boxes, each holding puzzle pieces that when put together each day will reveal the Holy Family on Christmas Eve! It is such a lovely idea! The boxes are numbered and are large enough to fit one or two small pieces of candy inside if you want to combine traditions with that of the candy filled Advent calendar. Each box also has a different Christmas greeting or saying on it. Some are funny, some are like a greeting card, and some are fortune cookie like. I would have preferred bits of scripture pertaining to the Christmas miracle or small lines from the Christmas story in Luke to lead up to Christmas but the sayings are a cute addition. The one unfortunate negative for me was that my boxes were smashed. The exterior storage box had a small dent in the bottom which I wasn’t too concerned about but when I opened the box, a large amount of the small daily puzzle boxes were smashed. The damage to them was clearly different from that of the outer box and therefore they were put in the outer box, shrink wrapped and sent to me that way. The damage does not seem to impact the pieces and the boxes are still usable so it is more disappointing and annoying than anything. I have not put the puzzle together yet as I am waiting for December 1st so I hope all the pieces are there and everything works out right.

The media could not be loaded. I love this nativity scene jigsaw puzzle. The pieces are a nice size and having them divided into day by day makes it easier to put it together.

Of course, I cannot speak yet to the quality of the pieces or how it fits together - that would of course ruin the fun of this puzzle. It is made up of 24 boxes of pieces that the puzzle maker opens, one at a time, and puts one box of pieces together each day leading up to Christmas. My mom is an avid puzzler but her age has made her steer away from such large puzzles because they overwhelm her. So I gave her one of these last year (different picture) and she had such a good time with it. After the season, she put it all back together into the boxes and passed it along for another to enjoy. I knew I had to do it again, and the picture on this puzzle is gorgeous and right up her alley. I can't wait to give it to her over Thanksgiving!!!! Great gift!

Each day, you assemble a new section of the puzzle and by Christmas, the entire puzzle is completed. The overall quality of this puzzle is acceptable. The artwork is vibrant, colorful and clear. The pieces are thinner than many of the other puzzles that I have assembled recently. Since this is designed to be assembled over 24 days in December, find a location where you do not need to move the puzzle, or build it on a puzzle board or similar item that can be moved out of the way, if needed.
