Nathan VaporAir Hydration Pack Running Vest w/ 2L Hydration Bladder Reservoir, Men's

i owned two other packs an ultimate direction and a salomon and this by far is the best pack! now i will say this, the ultimate pack was bought as a minimalist pack and the salomon pack is a size too small although i have run in it...both packs are good for their intended purpose. this nathan pack was bought specifically with point to point ultras in mind. this pack is very well designed. the pockets for water bottles are great. both of my ultimate direction 20oz bottles fit perfectly. the zip up pocket in the front will not fit my iphone 7 but should be able to hold at least 6 gels easy. the two side pockets are also great for additional gels and my iphone also fit! the pills pocket is well thought out and is made to withstand water.....great placement! i love the additional open front pockets for trash (all ultras DQ runners for littering) and more gels. i love love the magnet to hold the straw in place! great innovation. that is almost worth the price of the pack! there is a huge pocket for extra clothing (and yes...you will need to carry extra clothing if you do one of these ultras!) it comes with a two liter bladder that i had to trim the straw to fit. after putting this on and cinching it down in the front and on the shoulders, the pack fits perfectly!so some of the cons about this pack. if you are a large size person, this pack will probably not work for you. i am 135 pounds with a chest size of 34....the s/m fits perfectly, like the picture. if you are built like a muscleman, even the large/xl will be a challenged. the other con is that the material is thicker and heavier than my two other packs. by the time you load it down, a few ounces will probably not make a difference but where it may is running in the heat and humdity. i will definitely be able to use this pack for ultras in the winter and my others for runs in the summer and hotter climate.i will come back and complete this review once i have an opportunity to run with it. as of right now, i would highly recommend this pack!

My first running hydration pack. I wore the VaporAir on my long runs during late August and September in Phoenix while training for a fall marathon (which was the first I completed). It's a terrific pack. There is enough storage capacity while being very light. I love having my pockets empty with my keys and phone stored securely in the pack. The 2 L bladder helped contend with the high 80 and low 90 F heat of those early morning summer runs. The reflectors covering the front and back are a great safety feature for crossing streets on night runs. I also wore it for a 25K night trail race on a terribly hot and humid night, and it felt great. I would not recommend the pack for road racing, however, as I ran with it during the marathon and had intense shoulder pain for the second half.There are two pockets on the front straps which can fit bottles up to ~20 ounces (~650 mL). I purchased Nathan Tru-Flex Bottle, 22-Ounce, Silver to accommodate an electrolyte drink, but I didn't like how the rigid bottle felt pressed against my chest. I also tried the Hydrapak SF500 SoftFlask, Orange, 500ml, but a soft flask flopping about the chest has its own drawbacks. For races I've just dissolved salt tablets in the water filled bladder and not worn bottles. I'm looking forward to a winter full of trail running with this pack!Make sure you adjust the hose length to your liking and follow the tips in the videos on Nathan's website, like eliminating air (and sloshing) from the bladder when you fill it.

Love the lightweight feel and the 2L capacity is great. I grabbed the blue one instead of the black one because of the price point and am glad I did after getting it in-hand because the visibility is really good with the blue. I also loved the way it felt and breathed. Being able to carry my water and nutrition has been a game changer! My only disappointment is the cellphone compartment. I have an S8 Active in a case and it absolutely doesn't fit in the phone compartment. I ended up using one of the front water bottle holders for the phone, which isn't a big deal yet because the water bladder has more than capacity to cover my 15-20 mile runs.I easily cleaned the bladder when I got the vest out of the box and again after my run. The vest compartments were easy to access on the run and the was little to no bounce during my run (pro tip: Before putting the bladder back in the vest after filling, I turned it upside down and sucked all the air out through the drinking tube until water came out the bite valve. I think this kept the water from sloshing). Construction seems solid and I haven'y had any issues with chaffing.I weigh 160lbs and am 5' 10". The straps not only adjust in length but will slide up and down the vest to provide a more customizable fit. I looked for an adjustment strap inside the vest (as shown on the video) but couldn't find it. The vest would be snug if I was much bigger (unless there is another adjustment I haven't found like shown in the video). The shoulder adjustments came dialed in pretty good. Overall, despite the phone issue, I absolutely love this vest and would recommend it in a heartbeat!

Excellent, très léger, ne bouge pas, se fait complètement oublier en courant (bien penser à vider l'air de la poche à eau pour cela).Nombreuses poches disponibles, impeccable pour le Trail, les sorties longues, etc.Deux bémols:- les poches avant pourraient être plus hautes pour bien tenir des flasques 500ml- la poche dédiée au smartphone pourrait être plus grande (difficile de faire rentrer un format type iPhone 6S ou 7)Ce qui n'enlève rien à la qualité du produit.Je recommande.

Sitzt, wackelt nicht und hat noch Luft im Stauraum.Schön viele Fächer vorne und hinten. Für Trinkschläuche oder aber auch Signalpistolen.Qualitativ hochwertig verarbeitet, sollte ewig halten.

購入して間もなくフルマラソンにて使用しました。走りながらスマホで風景など撮影しました。その他財布等をポケットに入れていましたが、ランニング中、荷物が入っていることが気にならないくらいフィットしていてストレスを感じませんでしたポケットも多く、日常生活においても便利だと感じました私は胸囲90センチでS/Mサイズでちょうど良かったですいつかこのリュックを使用してトレイルランニングにも出場してみたいですね

Quick delivery, well packaged. Have used the vest several times on both long runs and cycle rides and it is very light and comfortable.Impressed by the quick fill hydration pack. Very pleased.
