ARTFLY Glow in The Dark Paint, 10 Bright Colors 60ml/2oz Blacklight Paint Set, Neon:We are lucky enough to have a 5 foot tall black light bar at home so we were sure to get full use out of these paints.My 7 year old daughter was excited to try these paints but she didn't realise they were glow in the dark ones because she never read the label.Queue her surprise at bedtime when her paintings that I had placed on the wall didn't want to disappear in to the dark. It was great.What I will say though is that the strength of the glow will also rely on how thick you lay down the paint, so keep that in mind.

The media could not be loaded. The red, green, orange, yellow and white so far all glow green just slightly different shades. Bad value for money, bad quality of colour, functions more like glue than paint

I like the pots these come in, they have a small bung inside so you need to unscrew them and remove that, then you can simply squeeze them to get paint out. The lids also fit nicely and seal the paint in - you don't get the bunged up openings you get with some acrylic pots.While these are paints I'm not sure they are meant for painting with in a traditional way, you really need to use blobs of them so there is some depth to where they are in order for them to glow. There is some mention of this saying they need to be 3mm or ideally thicker to work. We've used them for the flower buds on a border we've painted and you do get a glow from them for a while after it goes dark. I'd say they last a couple of hours if they've been in plenty of sunlight. However you don't get the super bright and colourful glow shown in some of the images on the product page - perhaps you get this more with a black light.Overall I'd say these are okay for adding some accents or glow detail but I wouldn't get your expectations too high.

Firstly I wanted to test the glow so I stood the bottles in the window for a couple of hours and they certainly glow in the dark, some better that others. The pots are a decent size and not only have a dropper and cap but a second cap on top of the actual bottle. I bought these for my daughter so didn''t want to mess up a dropper testing them, instead i dripped a paint brush into the pot. The consistency of the paint (if you can call it that) is thick, and its hard to shake to mix so I stirred it with the brush, then painted some lines on paper. What i found is that its sticky and translucent when brushed on, almost like coloured PVA. After looking at the box (no real instructions) I came back to the advert to discovered you have to build the paint up in layers, maybe using the dropper as your brush until its 3mm thick to get results. Not what I was hoping for. Still maybe my daughter has the patience to try

I made a few small paintings with my daughter which she enjoyed. Despite following the instructions theres no vivid glow. I "charged" the painting up in bright sun and whilst it did glow slightly it was no where near the effect i was hoping for. Under uv was a little better but still not what i was expecting. Quite dissapointed with this.

For being glow-in-the-dark paint I can't really say that they are as glowy as they should be. Sadly so. We do a lot of rock painting in this family and when using these you really do have to build up the colour to get it semi-vibrant. Annoying since you have to wait for each layer to dry before going in with the next layer.I can't really recommend these if you are after some good glow in the dark paints.
