Easy to assemble, icon picture instructions, solid when finished
Double Layer Bread Box for Kitchen Countertop, Large Breadbox Bread with Windows, Wooden Farmhouse Bread Holder (Natural Bamboo)The Breadbox comes shipped in a heavy duty recyclable, brown cardboard box. Inside the box, right on top is the instruction sheet, always a plus. Underneath that are various pieces of blonde colored bamboo based wood. There seems to be a light finish on the wood and they're all lettered and numbered so you can see what goes where. There's also a small baggie of screws and knobs for its assembly. The assembly instructions give you Ikea-like icon-style pictures showing an exploded view of the parts list and your step-by-step assembly. You're going to need a medium sized Phillips screwdriver for this, which is not included.Assembly is not overly complicated, but I recommend doing it on a nice flat spot such as a table. Basically, you set up the three basic shelf pieces. (Including the top and the bottom ). You lay the shelves up next to each other and screw the top to the side pieces with six screws. Then you slide the back into the two pieces and put in the other six screws. (For my past experience, I can advise you not to tighten the screws 100% tight until you get everything together. You may have to wiggle some connections to make everything line up. This is not in the instructions, just by experience.)When assembling the second side, you may want to leave the screws very loose, because in a subsequent step you're going to have to put the front doors on which will require some leeway on the side. Conversely, you can go as the instructions suggest and put the doors in before you put the second side on. [we got a little ahead of ourselves] Either way works, just make sure you have everything lined up properly before you put the screws down fully. Fully. On the doors you'll have to screw on the knobs with the small flathead cabinet screws which are included. The manufacturers supply one extra screw, in case you happen to lose one.All in all, assembly is not terribly difficult and once you're finished you'll have an attractive bread box for your kitchen. We're replacing an older single compartment bread box with this one. it's not quite as deep as our older one and is taller, but overall seems to be more convenient and holds more, different types of bread.

Feels like a coffee shop!!
The media could not be loaded. I love this thing and it makes my kitchen feel like a coffee shop which for me is exactly what I was going for.

Horrible
The worst instructions I have ever seen with pieces that are not even all labeled. Finally figured it out only to find out it was missing a hole to put it all together. Save your time and find another product.

Great size, useful for snacks too
We keep a loaf of bread in the top shelf and snacks such as packaged crackers and granola bars in the bottom. It has a good build quality and the materials seem to be sturdy. It was easy to put together.

It’s ok for the price
I wanted this style of breadbox, everything with good reviews was $40+ and I just couldn’t commit to that. So when I found this box, I thought it was too good to be true and it kinda was. The first one I received was crooked, it was assembled on a flat surface and we tested it on several flat surfaces after being built and even took it apart and rebuilt before deciding it was not user error and the box was just crooked. Received a replacement and the replacement was perfectly straight but had several areas where the wood was split and several spots of discoloration. I decided to keep it because I was over it and for the price, it wasn’t too bad but definitely will not recommend or buy again.
