Good fruit cage for potted plants or s plant in the garden.
Not the cheapest but not too expensive either. Quite think coated steel tubing so may not last more than half doz years (I silicone sealant filled the joints before making them to try to give it a bit more weather protection). Netting also lightweight (the blackbirds can nudge it to get at some of the outermost fruit). However, very easy to assemble and a decent size too - taller than I expected. The netting you have to carefully expand and lay around or you'll rip it (line an edge up with an upright and then walk it round using the clips as you go). Use the ground pegs too as it will blow over in a strong wind, although they're best just put halfway in the ground.

Overall a good buy
Good frame easy to assemble, and pretty sturdy the only let down is the netting is just slightly too small for the frame once attached with clips it tears easily but overall a good buy. No birds will eat my crop this year hopefully

Ease of construction, effective against birds, looks attractive
I put this together in less than half an hour, and it has effectively guarded my strawberry plants against the thieving pigeons all summer. For ease of harvesting and watering, I made a second opening in the netting (opposite the existing opening), and improvised a few fasteners using velcro strips. Definitely intend to purchase more of these next spring to protect other plants.

Stylish and practical
These round fruit cages are brilliant and perfect for protecting small fruit bushes. This is my second purchase and I am really pleased with them. It's extremely simple to assemble - my granddaughter aged 9 did most of it whilst I supervised! My only criticism is that the netting isn't quite wide enough to give an overlap for the opening. I can understand it needs to be held tight but another few centimetres would allow it to close properly. I use little plastic clothes pegs to keep it together.

Would have been good enough for 4 stars if the customer service was adequate
The product was purchased to protect our crop of blueberries. Unfortunately upon opening the box we discovered there was a broken T-joint (holds the bottom circle together). The rest of the product was present and correct, so rather than make a fuss & return the whole thing I contacted Haxnix to ask for a replacement T-joint - took me half an hour of diligent searching to find a phone number for the company! I explained the problem and was told ' if you have assembled the rest of it you can't return it for a refund'. I explained AGAIN that we didn't want a refund - just a replacement T- joint as it's clearly unstable if the bottom ring isn't held together. I was told that was no problem & it would arrive in about 10 days. That was about a month ago & we are still waiting! We made a Heath Robinson temporary fix in the meantime as the birds were not waiting but were feasting on our blueberries. Apart from this, the frame is quite sturdy although let down badly by the flimsy netting which was difficult to apply and has torn several times, necessitating repairs. Clearly the company does not intend to replace the broken T-joint. Buy at your own risk!

Attractive and functional
Now that it's in use I am very happy with the appearance and functionality of this cage. It was a little bit tricky to construct single handedly because bits kept coming undone, but the end result is reasonably robust (tip: make sure the rods are pushed into the sockets as far as they will go). One star lost due to the clips provided being insufficient in both quality and quantity to tauten the net, which is essential to prevent birds becoming caught up in it. I had to use my own clips plus a few clothes pegs to achieve this.

Does the job
This fruit cage protects my blueberries from the birds, was easy to assemble and looks quite attractive. It's just to the left in the photo. I find it substantial and it stays put with the pegs pushed into the ground. The clips that hold the netting in place are easy to remove for picking the berries and replace without damaging the net. Once my early blueberry bush has finished, I will cover my second blueberry bush with it, but sadly it's not big enough to accommodate the third-fruiting blueberry bush (which is quite large). I don't quite know what 'thickness' refers to in the review categories?

Cheap & doesn’t stay connected. Netting is rubbish!
Needs two pairs of hands plus a more permanent way of holding it together as it keeps coming apart at the joints . The netting is awful!
