This is a good toy for many reasons, including the lights and sounds which are some of the BEST when it comes to toys like this. Seriously, other toys have basic sounds and weak lights -- this one has great ones that our toddler and our 1-year-old both love equally. So major points for that, because it is often overlooked or brushed off -- not all trucks with sounds and lights are equal!Next, the forklift action is nice and works great. The wheel is nice and works smoothly. I like that it also has a hook to tow with, which a lot of kids love too. The forklift itself also can hold many other trucks with it too. It's nice in that regard.Where I deduct a point is the frustrating part. It's a forklift that doesn't forklift well! The pallet that comes with it just slides right off. The forks themselves are angled down and away, so anything that is being lifted up just slides off. This has created a lot of frustration for my kids, and the only work around is tying it with the hook. This seems like a silly point, but when I was using it too, you really cannot get more than 2 or 3 revolutions of the wheel before whatever you are lifting falls off. To that point, if you try to force it too much, the whole forklift assembly can come undone and break too, requiring you to force it into the slot again.Overall, GREAT PRODUCT and we would get it again and use similar products from this buyer. However, the forklift function is a little disappointing and we thought it would be great like it should for the rest of the quality here. We do still recommend it, just be wary of this issue.

My brother is an engineer and makes and manufacturers forklifts. When he got married about 20 years ago, he asked for a groomsman cake with a forklift on it. I had trouble locating a forklift toy at that time and had my husband construct one out of Legos. I am so happy to have found this toy, and I ordered it immediately because I thought of my brother instantly. I got this out and played with a little bit and I am very pleased with it. I am saving it for a birthday present for my brother later this year. This truly is a cute toy and it makes cute sound and I love the cute pallet that comes with it. Go ahead and order this for anyone in your life who would get a kick out of it.

I wish I was forklift certified so I could tell you if this was authentic. That said, me and the kids really struggle with it and any success moving a pallet of goods around feels like a real win for us. If your kids like heavy equipment, the will love trying and failing to figure this thing out.

This forklift may not be the most durable or function as a traditional forklift should, but our toddler absolutely loves it. The size is perfect for little hands, though the accessories are better suited for older kids due to potential choking hazards. While the design doesn't quite lift the pallets properly, it hasn’t diminished our child’s enjoyment. Overall, it's still a fun toy!
