This item is a 150 piece set of large building blocks for approximately age 3 to 6 year olds, it comprises of both four and eight stud bricks and is manufactured in five differing colours, it's also fully compatible with the leading brand.Item arrives in branded box which is suitable for gifting, contains a bag of four stud and eight stud bricks and a building idea sheet.This item is great value, bricks are manufactured of a quality very similar to the leading brand, it's difficult to tell them apart and they are also compatible with it.There's plenty of bricks contained within, however building is limited as there's no inclusion of much variety, if you're happy to build towers or square walls etc it's great value, but a couple of eight stud wheeled blocks and a brick shaped animal or two might have helped.That said this is a great set with plenty of bricks, maybe an ideal base set that could be added to after a while with a couple of additional purchases of more specific items, in order to provide some variety when the novelty wears off.The included building sheet provides some ideas for building, which is nice to have, but the real appeal has to be it's pricepoint and compatibility with that major brand.

Ich finde, die bunte Mischung macht auf jeden Fall Laune und es ist eine günstigere Alternative als zum Original. Die Steine sind absolut kompatibel zu allen anderen Herstellern der beliebten Klemmbausteine. Von Turm über Treppen und Tunnel bis zum Haus haben wir alles gebaut und wieder einstürzen lassen. Hiervon kann man nicht genug haben. Die Kinder sind sich natürlich einig: je mehr Steine, desto besser. Sogar das Aufräumen macht irgendwie Spaß. Wenn man eine schicke Regenbogenwand baut, geht im Kinderzimmer auch nicht so viel Platz verloren.Die Kinder bauen sehr viel mit den Steinen und oftmals bleibt das fertige Produkt über Wochen stehen.In Punkto Qualität gibt es somit absolut nichts zu beanstanden.Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis ist hier top!

Die alternativlose Alternative zu Duplo - warum? Weil es einfache Baustein Sets in dieser Größe und Vielfalt von Lego nicht mehr gibt. Es gibt zu 99% Themensets (Bauernhof, etc) die viele Spezialsteine enthalten und meist nur in der ursprünglich angedachten Form sinnvoll aufgebaut werden können. Dabei ist ja gerade der Reiz von Lego/Duplo dass mit der eigenen Kreativität unendlich viele Sachen gebaut werden können! Das geht bei den neuen Sets verloren...Daher sind diese Steine super. Sie sind perfekt kompatibel zum vorhandenen Duplo. Qualitativ sehe ich sie bei 98 % im Vergleich zu Duplo. Außen sind die Steine perfekt, die inneren Kanten sind bei Duplo eine Winzigkeit besser abgerundet. Das ist aber wirklich marginal, die Steine sind nicht scharfkantig - nur im direkten Vergleich sehe ich Duplo einen Hauch vorne.
