Viwoods thinks of everything! So glad I went with this!
First e-ink device and I'll be sticking with it!It's almost too thin; but the thin is perfect!I was not into the AI aspect, purchased it mainly because it came with the folio and stylus; but I've already been wowed at how useful the AI can be even just the small amount I use it.The complaints some have about the stylus rattling because of the looseness in the eraser end.... It's noticeable, yes but only because others pointed it out. It's totally fine!Getting Google play store activated was a tad difficult but relatively easy and successful on the second attempt.Great Google Drive integration and backup.Daily (Planner) is great!I'm in love. Viwoods seems to think of everything! The idea of future improvements after seeing the many they've already rolled out in their short time since release is even more exciting!

First e Ink Tablet - I really Like it
I purchased this to organize my note taking at work. Its been great so far... I haven't figured out my exact workflow with it yet, and worried about about organizing all of the notes I am generating, but so far I am really enjoying the experience of taking notes. The tablet does ghost, but a quick swipe down from the left side with your finger clears it up instantly. Battery life has been a bit less than expected as I was under the impression that when the "Wallpaper" screen was showing, it wasn't using any (or a negligible amount of) battery. I don't really turn off the device and the battery lasts around 4 - 5 days before I need to charge. This is after using it about an hour or two a day to take notes on. The rest of the time it just sits there with the screen "on". Its not really been a problem, but I just expected it to last for like 2 weeks or something. Regardless, its been a good experience and I like it. I haven't fully taken advantage of all it can do yet, but I plan to. Updates have been frequent and welcomed as they are continually adding features. Its more expensive than I want it to be, but I guess its like a full blown tablet, but just without the Screen/graphics capabilities. Its good for what its intended for! I have recently had an issue with the Pen not holding the "Paper like" nib. It seems like the design of the nib is to "skinny" and so it allows for some movement - when this happens, the table doesn't pick up the writing. The "Extended life" nib does not have this problem as its a bit more robust in its build. I have reached out to support so I will update the review when I hear back.

Great e reader / writer!
Really enjoying this so far! My Onyx Boox 10.3 broke. Signing into Google is a little bit of a hassel. I love the home page layout and ability to take daily notes / tasks. Lookin forward to split screen so I can write notes while reading kindle / google play books. Would like some more ways to organize the contents of a notebook / journal.

Slow, buggy, doesn't support most apps, and not worth it
The media could not be loaded. I really wanted to love this tablet. On paper, the specs seemed promising, high-resolution 300 PPI display, ultra-thin design, AI features, and plenty of storage. But after actually using it, I’m left wondering what the real selling point even is.The biggest issue for me is the dead pixels. I noticed tiny white dots on the screen that won’t go away, no matter how many times I restart. For a nearly $600 device, this is unacceptable. It ruins the reading and writing experience and makes me question quality control. Then there’s the lag. Even with the so-called “fast” and “ultra-fast” modes, it feels sluggish. My much older Kindle responds faster, and the contrast is better. I don’t know if my unit is faulty or if this is just how slow the refresh rate is supposed to be, but either way, it’s frustrating. The lack of Google Play support is another huge letdown. I thought I could sideload apps, but that turned out to be useless since most apps require Google services to function. For example, I downloaded the ChatGPT APK, but it wouldn’t even run because it needs Google frameworks. The built-in AI assistant is underwhelming at best, it has no custom instructions, no organization, and nothing close to the real ChatGPT experience. And then there’s the pen. The writing experience is terrible because the pen tip is so shaky and unstable. Every stroke feels inconsistent, and it ruins the whole purpose of a note-taking device. Writing feels jittery, and trying to draw or annotate documents is an exercise in frustration. To make things worse, the screen has horrible ghosting. Even when I manually hit the refresh button from the drop-down menu, the previous content still lingers. Notes, text, and even menu elements leave shadows that don’t fully clear. It makes reading and writing extremely distracting, and it’s honestly one of the worst ghosting issues I’ve seen on an e-ink screen. And let’s talk about the so-called AI features. They feel like a gimmick. Nothing actually enhances productivity in any meaningful way, and they certainly don’t justify the price. No speakers, microphones that serve no real purpose, and large, unnecessary holes in the front make the design even more questionable.Compared to BOOX devices, this feels outdated. Compared to a Kindle, it feels sluggish. It tries to position itself as an “AI-powered” alternative, but in reality, it’s just a frustratingly slow, overpriced e-ink tablet with unfinished features and bad quality control.I regret this purchase. If you’re considering this tablet, save yourself the headache and look elsewhere.
