Great kindle
Purchased for 11 year old who enjoys reading but actually getting out to choose a book was becoming a chore. Game changer for us, having all of these books available at a click of a button has meant they’ve been eager to read a lot more. Has been great for car journeys too. We are happy with the quality of the product, easy to use and clear picture.

Absolutely fantastic!
Upgrading from an older Kindle to this is like night and day! The illuminated screen for night time reading without blue light interference is such a nice thing to have. No more eye strain and no more reading with the light on disturbing others.This Kindle feels really well made and very intuitive to use compared with older models with physical buttons.If you are on the fence about the paperwhite vs. normal model, definitely consider spending a little extra for much more convenience.

Easy to set up
Bought for young one as Christmas presents as he is a voracious reader. I'm not a fan of the most of the free books in the kindle kids library. There are a few classics but you'll still have to pay for the premium books. The only downside is that books are available in only black and white. These means there are some books that I still prefer buying as hard copies for the kids so they can appreciate the imagery . Otherwise, a kindle is very convenient for travelling, safe saving and eco healthy as well.

Fantastic device if it wasn’t for poor quality control
THE BAD: The first one I received had a bright line and a “dead pixel” and the replacement had a warm yellow gradient and was noticeably less bright than the first one I received. The UI is clunky and a pain to navigate Kobo does it better but I was ready to compromise.The GOOD: it’s incredible how crispy and fast this device is. It has to be the fastest in the market.In the end I returned the both I was gonna attempt it again but I changed my mind I’ll just wait for Kobo to release a faster device.I wanted this kindle for the incredible speed but the quality control really lets it down.
