I use Happy Frog for all up potting of seedlings or for containers. This is my favorite soil! It looks and feels healthy. It is worth the extra cost if you love plants like I do. It's a better price if you buy multiples.

This soil has saved so many of my prayer plants that I almost murdered. I had a few down to a single leaf and have been successful in regrowing several plants. The grow big fertilizer is awesome too. The only down side is that sometimes bags arrive with small holes from what I’m guessing are bugs. The only problem I’ve had have been with getting fungus knats but it may not be the fault of the soil. Prayer plants need a lot of humidity. Wish they had a product that kills those.

I've been using Happy Frog Soil for about 4 months now for veggies and herbs. When I transplanted my basil, rosemary and other herbs, along with a decent watering, they immediately grew at least 2-3 times the size overnight! For bigger growing herbs, the soil is a bit to dense. I added a 35-40% promix to them and it makes all the difference in root development.In considering value, HF is a good value bc it packs all the nutrients you need for the first few months and it's ph balanced. You still need to ensure your water ph is at recommended levels though.Overall, it's a nice rich soil with a healthy smell. As far as bugs/ants, I have not seen any in this shipment.Ensure your grows are stable and healthy by using Happy Frog Soil!

I always buy organic potting soil for anything I grow. I mostly get some from Lowe's because I usually get a good deal. The drawback with Lowe's soil is that it does tend to have big chunks of wood/ mulch in it. Happy Frog is way better and smoother in texture. I also like the fact that it already has perlite in it. Other than adding some compost of my own to this potting soil (just my preference, not necessary), this soil is perfect for growing just about anything.

Tried this for the first time and love it for two reasons -- plants are thriving, and it arrived with no gnats. Will buy again!

I used to buy this at my local store, but they foolishly stopped selling it. Even though they said it kept selling out. Anyway, I love the ingredients. Everything I would have put together myself to enhance my garden. And Amazon delivers. What's not to love?
