I have Oral Lichen Planus, an autoimmune disorder that causes my gums, cheeks and tongue to be very sensitive to strong spearmint. I thought I'd take a chance on this brand since the flavor is peppermint. It actually makes a big difference, at least in my case, to use peppermint instead of spearmint. Anyway, this is still too strong for me. I was looking for another brand I can tolerate since my husband's Dr. Jen toothpaste is also too spearminty for me. Unfortunately the flavors I can tolerate are for children and do not have the correct percentage of nano-hydroxyapatite and other ingredients for remineralization.p.s. for any toothpaste manufacturers out there - please make an adult toothpaste that doesn't blast the mint flavor, or better yet - ZERO MINT! There are many millions of us out here with Oral Lichen Planus and we need to take better care of our teeth at home, since we're often unable to go through teeth cleaning procedures if we're having an OLP flare up.
