I purchased the Chiostro di Saronno Traditional Panettone Cake for our family's holiday gathering, and it was a delightful addition to our festive feast! The cake arrived beautifully packaged, ensuring it was fresh and intact. Upon opening, the aroma of candied fruits and warm baking spices filled the air, setting the perfect holiday mood.The texture of the Panettone was superb—fluffy and light with a rich buttery taste that melted in the mouth. The generous amount of glazed orange peels and raisins distributed throughout the cake added a lovely chewy texture and a fruity flavor that perfectly complemented the sweetness.We served it sliced with a dusting of powdered sugar and paired it with a bit of sweet mascarpone cheese, which was a hit among the adults and kids at our party. I appreciated that it wasn't overly sweet, which made it a great option for our guests who prefer less sugary desserts.I'm really impressed with the quality and authenticity of this Panettone. After trying numerous pannetones in the past six months, this is only the second one that qualifies for five stars. My personal criteria for a 5-star pannetone are, 1) not too sweet, 2) lots of moist pieces of citrus, 3) fluffy texture. Most of the other pannetones I've tried range between too sweet and revoltingly sweet, and skimp on the citrus pieces. Nearly all of them rated four to five stars for fluffiness and texture. (As an aside, the most fluffy one happened to be the revoltingly sweet one).The fluffy texture of this pannetone, by my rating system, ranged between a three and a four, which I attribute to the fact that it was three months shy of the expiration date. Even if this was not the reason, the generous number of citrus pieces plus the fact that it wasn't overly sweet gives them a pass on the just-OK texture. I'm really looking forward to trying a freshly made one.

Arrived quickly and is so soft and fresh! One of the best panettones I've had! This is a safe and delicious purchase!

Thought we’d try this for Christmas .Our soon to be daughter in law is from Brazil and this is a regular delight for her there growing up. We thought this would be a great reminder of home. She loved it !!!So we recommend it. Fresh ,moist ,and delicious!
