This attention to detail, together with decent accessibility, makes the unit easy to install reliably.The installation screws (to attach the unit to a back-box) actually look perfectly fine but this unit even has a clip-on face to hide them.All-in-all a good design from both the installation perspective and appearance. The cable outlet is a little close to the fuse cover, so on installation ensure the orientation of the unit yields easy access to the fuse cover without the cable being in the way.Video: On a PC, left mouse click the maximise symbol, bottom right corner, to view the video full-screen. Very good quality item. Well made, looks stylish. Is easy to install. Feels like a quality item and one that you can be sure of.

Very nicely made and finished in a slightly unusual design including snap on cover hiding the usual retaining screws but may not match the profile of other accessories. Although from a reputable brand and a generic claim to meet all international standards there is no CE or UKCA marking on the item or the packaging which is surprising. With more information regarding certification I would have given it 5 stars.

This is just what I was looking for as I'm installing an outdoor security light and was hoping to avoid running flex from a 3-pin plug through the wall.It takes a little effort as you need to get a metal back box installed, a cable routed and fed through the wall and then twin and earth cabled from an electrical point.Assuming you have all of this, installation is minutes. Just make sure you have the correct amp fuse. I've had to replace mine for a 3amp fuse and 13 would be way overrated.This is quite slim and does the job discretely.

Whilst product quality is very good generally, one design flaw makes it more difficult to fit than standard spur switches. The bevel around the side when fixed covers the screws that secure the switch. As you have wire going through the front of switch, you have to put wire through the bevel then into the switch. This leaves bevel hanging in the way of screws, making it more awkward to secure than normal fused units. Plus removal requires bevel to be levered off with small screwdriver, which will scratch paintwork.But works, looks good when fitted, just poorly thought out for switch with wire through the front.

Cheap but not bad. Quality isn't the best but it does work ok. Looks OK and fits a standard patress. Extremely easy to install if you know what you're doing and what purpose it's for and the rating of the appliance.I recommend but only if you want to save money.

Ideal internal fused spur connection point for the likes of a shed or garage. Simple to install in a standard wall enclosure, either flush or boxed. Non-switched so it will be a permanent powered connection unless main ring or supply is switched off.

This is a well made fused spur unit. It meets all current regulations and I’ll be using it to install a wall fan heater in my bathroom.Good value for money
