Essentials by DFO Exclusive Folding Wood Adirondack Chair - Painted Red

I don't normally write reviews but felt compelled to do so for this item. I'm surprised there isn't more feedback. Item arrived well packed (double box with Styrofoam) and timely shipping. All wood construction and looks that way. The folding feature is a plus for winter storage. Two thick wooden pins remove the connection to allow it to fold. Easy to assemble, though the instructions were printed in black and white and the drawing was hard to follow as it was very dark. I had to refer to this Amazon listing to see the colored photo. Not alot of parts to it, just a few bolts and screws. The chairs are really nice looking and feel conformable. They seem just the right size - not too big or too small. The best feature is the price. My wife and I can't believe how nice the chairs are for the money, and she has expensive tastes when it comes to furniture. We bought two, and one was slightly scuffed along the leg, but nothing that a little red paint can't fix. I don't know how well they will last - they seem durable - but outdoor chairs are supposed to weather anyway. And truthfully, they're more for decoration and only occasional sitting. They're placed on our stone/brick front door landing to match a red door and they really work nicely. No need to spend hundreds of dollars for an Adirondack chair, these look that expensive for much less money. We're very happy with this choice considering that there were no reviews when we purchased.

Poor quality wood and poorer quality paint finish. Fortunately I don't intend to sit in this often so construction and sturdiness is not as issue, but if it were I would rate it low quality also.......OK price but you get what you pay for!

Nice well built chair but sassy instructions need some more details to alleviate possible confusion

The chairs were beautiful when I put them together. But with only two months or weather wear-and-year the chairs look faded, peeling and look like I've left them out for years. I'm disappointed.

Got these about three weeks ago and the wood is already starting to crack (with very little use). I will be pretty shocked if these last through the summer. For now, they look okay, and assembly was fairly easy, even though the directions were barely legible. Would not purchase again--they're just too cheaply made.

Ordered 5 chairs all came cracked.

These were fairly easy to put together and seem pretty comfortable. I don’t recall measurements, but I think it needs another three or 4 inches width to sit in a comfortable cross legged position. My biggest concern is that the description of it being a folding chair is not accurate. It can condense it shape but the seat back and seat bottom do not fold near each other, there is at least 9 inches to a foot of space and it is not compact.
