VERY simple, but effective.
My son needed a phone mount to stabilize the old phone he uses to make stop-motion videos. We tried a variety of DIY situations but the phone always ended up slipping. This simple little wood block is perfect! It holds the phone vertically or horizontally, doesn't allow it to knock over, and is generally nice looking. You can also use a 3M strip to "install" it so that it won't slip or move if you need to pick up the phone and adjust something, then set it back down. I received this through the Vine program, but would buy it again for sure.
