Good not great - a comfy casual wear, not for running or fitness really
These leggings are good but not mind blowingly amazing. So deciding to purchase these really depends on what you want them for.Firstly, I initially bought them for running. I'm not a fan of shorts but needed something other than a full length legging for summer as I was overheating in my usual pair. Great idea in theory but these are perhaps better for autumn and spring than summer as the fabric is actually quite thick. The downside is they are not that cool but the upside is they'd be great for cool/crisp days and the thick fabric means they feel 'sturdy' and durable. I'd be more than happy to go hill walking or hiking in these as they'd definitely win a battle with any nettles or irritating grass.Another plus is that they material is quite soft and they are very comfy. So these are definitely great for leisure wear too. In fact, I'd say they're possibly more suited to leisure than working out. And here's why...So the material, despite being thick as I've previously mentioned, is nothing special in terms of fabric or design. It's true you get what you pay for so I wasn't expecting high end sports fabric but based on the description I was hoping these would be supportive at the least and was hoping for a good compression. Nope. While they are figure fitting (but then which leggings aren't?) they aren't particularly tight and have absolutely no compression at all. If you're wanting these for a walk, general work outs or even yoga (which is now what mine are being used for) then these are fine but don't expect to do any HIIT or running with these. Despite getting a small size (I have some curves and according to the measurements an XS wouldn't fit my hips in) these slide down quite easily when I'm running. Not only is there no compression (if you're not sure compression = muscle stimulation, prevents lactic acid build up and helps aid recovery) but I was forced to constantly stop to yank them up; particularly as they took my underwear with them as they fell down! They also don't hold your waist in/ have a slimming effect (I've had plenty of good quality sports leggings that do). These just sit, comfy as anything. So don't expect a toned tummy/ bum look. I'm not that fussed by this look wise but lack of 'slimming effect' also = lack of support and personally I think these could do with being tighter at the waist. They're meant to be high waisted after all. There is no real in/ out with these so it's a poor attempt at a high waisted design really. (I do have an hour glass figure shape so maybe for others with different body shapes/ chunkier waists this would be better). Finally, yes there's a pocket but it's not where you expect. I have the three quarter length wit the pretty detail above the ankle and the pocket on these are at the front and it's more of a hole in the seam where you can just get a credit card. It's also just that, a hole or gap. No zip or cover so don't expect to go out with your key or phone and being to fit them in. I almost lost my card as it was because of the lack of zip/ tightness of the material.Overall, they are comfy and the detailing on the ankle is cute. Talking of which, the stitching/ design is not a problem despite the circle bit being some hard plastic or metal. I thought this would rub or hurt in yoga when leant on but it's fine. They're great for a walk, yoga, pilates and maybe even spin but if you're looking for something more 'athletic' that does a job such as quick drying. compression, support or just staying up then these are not the work out leggings for you.I think I've been generous giving 4 stars not 3 but I do really like the colour and the detailing so they've won me over materialistically, not practically.

Wordy review, but I may repurchase.
The fabric is rather thick and seems to be quite durable. It feels suitable for “athleisure” as well as for working out in.The pocket in the back is about the size of a credit card. I hoped it would fit a small phone, but it doesn't. I don’t think anyone goes for a run with their phone sticking out (as in the picture advertised).Knocking off one star as it fits loose if you go based on the chart. It fits somewhat true to size if it’s for athleisure because it is very comfortable.. almost too comfortable. I found it a little loose around the waist area, but it may just be my body type (my upper half is small comparative to my bottom half). It doesn’t hold my waist in (which I somewhat prefer for extra lumbar support) but at least it doesn’t pinch in the waist. Can’t have everything I guess. If you’re looking for something for yoga, weights, or just lounging - these are great. I wouldn’t call it compression or tights that would accentuate any muscles (as it says it would on the tag - haha!).It is cut well to suit a woman’s shape - a little like an hourglass - so it potentially does do the “body contouring” as it advertises. If you are looking for something that will be tight for your workout, I would go a size down. Definitely doing that if I buy another pair. In fact, I returned the full-leg one (not cropped) for this reason - wasn’t tight enough for my preference... but I am a little bit fussy!!

Great leggings for the gym
I really like these leggings. I often struggle with size when it comes to leggings as I’m really petite, however, these fit me perfectly in terms of length and on the calves and the see through material at the bottom gives it a sexy look. I haven’t seen anything like this style in the shops so I like the fact I have a unique pair of leggings when I go to the gym

A bit too see-through!
I'm a size 8 and and bought the xs which when I initially took them out of the packet I thought there was no way I could get them on as they looked so small but they are stretchy and give a nice snug fit without feeling tight. The material is nice and thick and feels more expensive than they cost. They also have more of a 'matte' look rather than a shiny look like some gym leggings can be. There is a tiny pocket at the back to put keys, etc in but I would not have used this as it is an open pocket and doesn't close- a zip would made it more secure.I loved these leggings however they sadly did not hold up to the 'squat test'! They are quite see through to point of being able to see the label on my underwear! Really disappointed as they were comfortable and looked great.

Detailing broke after one wear
I really liked the look of these leggings, especially the cute cut-out detail at the end of the leg. Imagine my disappointment when the metal ring that holds the fabric in place in the petal pattern was broken in half after one wear. The breakage left the petal pieces flapping about in a ridiculous way and is completely irreparable. If the design feature had been of higher quality, the leggings would have got a much higher review. They were nice on, comfy to wear during yoga, not see through, although slightly too stretchy as they were quite loose - I'd have ordered a size down if I'd known.Really disappointed that these broke and are now useless to me.

Great!
Great leggings.I'd say get the smaller size than you think you need if you have big hips and a small waist. The next pair I order will need to be a bit more snug.Overall really happy though!

Really delighted with these sports leggings
Really delighted with these sports leggings. They arrived exactly on time (no mean feat for rural France) and although initially I thought they had sent the crop trousers instead of the full length ones, when I tried them on they were a good full length fit. Extremely comfortable & excellent quality for the price. Perfect for yoga practice with no restriction of movement. Will recommend to my students.
