Beware, Poor customer service
I purchased the Kitsound cube in June , the adaptor fell into two pieces when removing from the 3 pin socket, Neither the seller or Kitsound will accept responsibility for what is clearly a manufacturing weak spot on the adaptor & is clearly a fairly inexpensive item, both saying I should contact the other , I feel this is very poor customer service from Kitsound , I am left with a useless radio through no fault of my own.

Poor product.
At first this seemed like an excellent value product, easy to use, nice display, good sound for a mono DAB, and a useful USB charging port. Alas after less than 8 weeks the unit just stopped working. So obviously very poor quality components used by the Chinese manufacturers. Avoid or purchase at your peril.

Rubbish
Item looked really nice but as soon as I tried to set it up the problems began. Firstly the mains in plug felt as though it was not attached properly inside, moved about a a lot. Secondly it would only tune into one frequency when scanning for stations, so tried a manual tunning. This took forever with me wandering around the room trying to get it to work.It is not down to bad reception, I live in an area with good DAB reception. When I did eventually get it to tune into the station I wanted reception was abysmal, good for a few seconds then terrible. Only place it would work was standing in the middle of the room holding it above my head. Useless for what it is supposed to be an ALARM CLOCK. I did contact KitSound but as yet no reply. They are supposedly an award winning company , Ha for what cheap rubbish. A typical made in China with poor quality components piece of garbage. This Item is NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE.

Good Radio, but can't turn alarm volume down and useless for charging.
The display is clear and the dimming modes work well; radio works well and sound is good for a single speaker device. It has USB socket, purportedly for phone charging; problem is, the power supply isn't up to the task; after a couple of seconds charging a Samsung A8, the display goes blank and the power supply has to be disconnected from the mains, before it will power the unit again. For some bizarre reason, the programmers have limited the alarm volume range; first thing I have to do in the morning is turn the radio down, because you can't adjust the alarm volume to the lower settings that the unit allows for normal radio operation.Probably going to send it back due to the power issue, and ask for my money back.

really badly designed.
I bought the radio alarm as it was one of the few with larger digits on the clock display. It is good looking and sounds ok but is badly designed, the button system is much too complicated and hard to use without getting up and turning the light on to be able to adjust it. The worst thing about it is the clock display which can only be read by being at the same level (either lying in bed or kneeling down). If I am standing in the room I can only see half the display meaning I can't read the clock. In order to make the thing useful I have had to position it on a wedge or foam that tips the display upwards enough so I can read the clock display. The only reason I am keeping it is because of the larger display. How did the thing get through the design process without anyone seeing the problems. Not very impressed really.

Neat to look at but not simple to operate
I bought this to replace a previous DAB clock radio, and was impressed with the footprint as it was a much smaller design than I had previously had. I have to say I'm usually quite good with instructions but found this product very difficult to get to grips with. Having set up the alarm initially I wanted to change it and the Menu button seemed to have lost its' function. It appears that you have to have the product on standby and listening to the radio for the Menu button to actually give you the menu!! Pity the instructions didn't tell you that as I nearly sent the item back.

Lovely little box
I love this clock radio, I must confess to struggling to set the alarm ( but that's just me) however once I figured it out its so easy to use and for me it has a good sound
