Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I cleaned my deck, which hadn't been sealed in two years (with Thompson's, which didn't last well, IMO), with deck cleaner and power washer, but as you can see, I didn't get all the old stain off. This resulted in color variation, as you can see. If you want it to look nicer, get all the old stain off, as the directions instruct. But I'm happy because it looks decent enough and is repelling the rain well. I purchased this because of its high rating on DeckStainHelp.com. If I am dissatisfied with how it does in the long run (as compared to Thompson's, which is a low bar), I'll downgrade my rating.The rustic color is definitely a brown-red mix.

I used this, as directed by the carver, on a carving in the garden. The colour is good and was very easy to put on with a paint brush.

Love the finished look of this product on our south-facing entry door. Previously I had used products with a polyurethane finish which just did not wear well and looked awful after just a short period of time. My son sanded the door down completely--one more time--and recommended TWP. The only drawback to using it is the odor that lingers for awhile, but I'm able to overlook that for the finished product.

This is the absoute best. Covers well, stays good for about 5 years before a touch up is required. I like that it comes in some very nice colors that add some class to your deck. We use nothing else.

Does what it should. Single coat is not enough to really stain treated lumber, it is going to rrquire more.
