Waste of money
Waste of money, hard to use and unclear instructions. I tried to use this test to test myself for arsenic exposure and instead I ended up just throwing the thing away. They only give you "ONE" test strip! I mean come on not even an extra one in case you do get it wet.

Excellent Test for the Money! Quick Results! Very Reassuring!
Who knows the accuracy of this urine arsenic test? I hope the seller will comment how it compares to other methods in the lab. This test is reminiscent of old soil test kits and does require a little focus, reading the directions several times and a steady hand, and some things could have been added to the directions such as suggestion to raise the indicator strip all the way up into the cap so no liquid will get on it. The strip is supposed to react only to the gases in the tube and not get wet so be careful. My result was 30 ug/L or 0.03 ppm which is about what I expected and certainly what I hope for since the instruction sheet suggests that anything between 50 and 200 ug/L would be a matter of concern. The reason I took this test is that I eat rice at every meal including Great Value brown rice from Walmart which testing shows to be moderately lower than other brands of brown rice but still potentially a problem. However, even though I eat it every day I always soak it for several hours and rinse it before cooking, and apparently that has removed enough arsenic to be safe. Also, I have turmeric and greens and vegetables with every meal which supposedly counteracts any effects of arsenic. Perhaps it inhibits absorption too. ?? Anyway, I feel I am in the clear to continue my healthy vegan diet with plenty of rice with no worries.Follow up. This useful information was on the Osumex web site and claims this is an accurate test, but read more."Tests the presence of ions of Arsenic to a high degree of accuracy to detect contamination in the body and on a wide range of materials in your environmentThere is about 10 to 20 mg. of arsenic in the human body. In very small amounts arsenic may even be essential and functional in humans. Organic arsenic as arsenates and elmental arsenic both found naturally in the earth and in foods do not readily produce toxicity. The inorganic arsenites or tivalent forms of arsenic, such as arsenic trioxide used industrially and found as a food contaminate, seem to create the problems. They accumulate in the body, particularly in the skin, hair, and nails, but also in internal organs. Arsenic can accumulate when kidney function is decreased. Absorption of arsenic is fairly low, usually less than 5 percent. Most of it is eliminated in the feces and some in the urine. "
